July 23, 20196 yr I've been using an app called farmlogs. It's been pretty sweet, I could track past rain at my house and lease. They've recently went full on pay to play. Now i can only see the last 24 hours. It was cool because you can use google maps and trace the area you want to monitor. It's obviously an estimation, using green, yellow, and red radar reflects, but a good tool to have on monitoring our water level. Any recs on apps that you like that record approximate rain on a set area?
July 23, 20196 yr I'm not in TX anymore so I lose track of a lot of daily / regional weather guesstimates I used to have. Still hunt in the hill country though and the best I have found is via LCRA and NOAA https://hydromet.lcra.org/ https://water.weather.gov/precip/ If you are in an LCRA area and close to a guage, their gauges are as or more accurate than the NOAA analysis IMO. For LCRA.....Under Hydromet Data, you can switch the information from Streamflow to Rainfall Totals and look at the various gauges for periods of time going back 2 weeks. Both appear to be pretty accurate. YMMV.
