Edit: misspelled guard as guar.com. that probably matters.

note if you use dns.assguard.com , it wont have the same effect

it should work.  it will block non-app originated ads, meaning 3rd party ads.  
Still getting them. They are using location as well.

it's from an app that you installed.  it's probably spying on other shit too.

the adguard dns will stop most ads on your browser and ads on certain apps.

download/run the malwarebites app and see if that works and finds what bad acting app is serving them up to you

try block-this as well? https://block-this.com/ (going to assume you are not rooted)

It was samsung pay! I installed it a few hours ago and all seems well (so far)

Kid installed one game and I deleted it last week, castle wreck is what it was called. When I get home from vacation I will wipe it is making me rage.

some apps install spam apps which hide from the app launcher.  maybe check your installed apps via the google play store.
