Ian Boyd on Davis: Davis is a big, flex tight end prospect already checking in at 6-foot-4, 217 pounds as a sophomore. Davis has excellent ball skills and at times even ignores the smaller CBs assigned to cover him and simply goes through them to win jump balls. Some of his more intriguing clips though feature him willingly going over the middle, finding seams, and fighting through tacklers after the catch. He’ll eventually be a plus athlete for his size, which figures to be 6-foot-5, 245 or so when he’s in college, and his skill and agility will pay off. He may not ever be a blocker but stay outside as a full-time flex tight end, in which case he figures to project to the slot or X for Texas.

This is pleasant news.

I guess Warehime goes back in his box for the next 6 months?

They told Warehime to finish his work early so he could help out his slower classmates

Watched this kid live a couple times the past two years. Their passing game just consists of throwing jump balls up to him and letting him out-man dudes, even when he was a freshman.  Feel like he's pretty raw because they don't do anything sophisticated, but he has ball skills.

Hook'em JD.  Let's get this party weekend started right, let's get this party weekend started quickly.

That’s awesome.  Kid’s super excited to be here, wins the best hands award from Harry Gamilton, might be as tall as advertised, and makes jump ball plays in a Neolithic offense.

Plus athlete with elite ball skills. I love this pick up.

Man, I'm starting to run out of Bollywood dance numbers.

Just kidding

If they stopped making them today, how many classes would have to go by for that to be true? We'd be in the next century at least.

Outstanding athlete.  He's dominating defenders whether he's covered or not.  Great to hear that he showed outstanding hands in a camp setting.
