Controversial Photo Of LSU Coach Ed Orgeron Leaked, Goes Viral

By Jason Hall

October 22, 2020

A controversial photo of LSU head coach Ed Orgeron has leaked and is getting attention on social media.

The photo shows Orgeron, 59, in bed with what appears to be significantly younger woman. In February, the national champion head coach and his wife, Kelly Orgeron, filed for divorce in East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court after 23 years of marriage, the Advocate reports.

The divorce petition obtained by the Advocate revealed Orgeron and his wife separated on February 24 "and have lived separate and apart without reconciliation since that date." The filing came just over a month after Orgeron led the Tigers to a College Football Playoff National Championship victory over Clemson on January 13, 2020.

In the divorce petition, Ed Orgeron stated he is entitled to have the exclusive use of the former matrimonial domicile in Baton Rouge, but approved a decision to grant Kelly Orgeron use of the family's other home in Mandeville, "until such time as the community property is settled either by conventional agreement or judicial partition," the Advocate reports.

Orgeron took over as LSU's interim head coach in Week 5 of the 2016 season amid the firing of former head coach Les Miles. The Tigers finished the season with a 6-2 (4-2 SEC) record in their final eight games and Orgeron was formally named head coach during the following offseason.

Orgeron improved his overall record during each of his first three seasons as permanent head coach, finishing with a 9-4 (6-2) record in 2017; 10-3 (5-3) in 2018; and 15-0 (8-0) in 2019, which included SEC and national championship victories. However, the Tigers have struggled to a 1-3 start through their first three games in 2020 amid numerous key player and assistant coaching departures.

Landon Jackson with another season ending injury -- broken ankle.

Sage Ryan (5* S from Louisiana) set his commit date for Halloween. Notable because it caught LSU coaches and reporters off-guard. (note he is a cousin/nephew to Kevin and Trev Faulk). Sounds like he is headed to Bama. LSU boards are in full melt-down mode. I can't enjoy that melt but it is happening.

Sure hope his watch is waterproof.

There’s some smoke about a possible flip of Blow U commit Kevin Gilliam to Notre dame. He’s a nice prospect. The only problem is if they lose him then they probably just replace him with abiara.that’s if they are still considering him

TCU offers OT Austin Uke (he's the one trained by Donald Hawkins)  - sounds like UT may have made an offer as well. (per Hawkins twitter)

Anybody have insight on him jumping around high schools? Jesuit -> Trinity Christian (I think that's Deion's school) -> Parish Episcopal

What has happened to TCU’s recruiting? They are currently #100 with 8 total commitments. I know Patterson isn’t as fully engaged as he used to be, but it looks like the whole staff has checked out.

Not sure why this isn't hurting LSU recruiting more...  (Dec 10th)

This class was from the start for the Frogs going to be a very small class as they only have 5-6 seniors on both sides of the ball starting the season.  Current roster has 3 seniors on each side and I am sure they will lose a few more transferring out after the season.  Unfortunately the staff hasn't been able to go out and beat the bushes and flip rocks to find overlooked talent like they normally do so not sure how this class will finish out this year.  Did pick up the corner from the Mansfield area Covington which brings their class to 9 recruits right now.  Hope they pick up a few grad transfers to the offensive line as they have a solid core of young skill talent on offense.

Wow.. That's a really big loss for Tech if he doesn't end up going there.. Kid could have changed Tech/Wells trajectory.

Now just biding time before Wells let go.

Thought Wells is returning for 2021 ??

All 21 for Ohio State signed this morning.  Hopefully Tuimoloau will sign in Febrary to complete the class although Tristen Leigh is still a possibility as he delayed his decision today.

Michigan had their top LB commit flip to Maryland today.  You just hate to see it.

He was CBed as 50/50 between SMU and OU. Why do I feel like it was OU all the way? Someone's drinking too much kool aid.

So, coming from both my allegiances, fuck OU.

De'Jahn Warren (CB) flips from Georgia to Jackson State!!  Was also considering Penn State.

De'Jahn Warren Flips Commitment to Jackson State

BROOKS AUSTIN     DEC 16, 2020

Head coach Kirby Smart and his staff are no strangers to the junior-college market when it comes to bringing in extremely talented and experienced players. Defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt and cornerback DJ Daniel have played pivotal roles at Georgia in their two years on the roster.  De'Jahn Warren was set to be next in line. He committed to Georgia back on August 24, but on early national signing day, he has flipped his commitment to Jackson State to play for Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.  He was the exact prototype for a UGA cornerback. Georgia asks their corners to play an extremely physical brand of football and Warren is no stranger to contact. He's consistently leaving bodies lying in his wake on tape. He would have fit in perfectly for what head coach Kirby Smart and defensive coordinator Dan Lanning intend to do.

He's even physical enough, if need be, to move to safety. However, Warren is at his best in man-to-man coverage locking down the opponent's top target. He's long, has the speed to run with any wideout, and he high-points the ball extremely well for a defensive back.  Not to mention the added value he brings as a special-teams player. He blocked several punts during his junior-college career and also got his hands on a few field-goal attempts.

This is a critical loss for Georgia considering the lack of depth at the corner position that could arise with early draft declarations from Eric Stokes and Tyson Campbell.

I'm sorry but that's insane. Isn't Jackson State an FCS program? Deion handing bags out?

First Year bump for Deion... De'Jahn Warren (CB) is also a Juco transfer so not a 4yr player

Also...
