September 10, 20214 yr Oregon scores in the 87th minute to beat Texas 1-0 Texas falls to a season record of 1-3-2 CDC wtf are you waiting for dude.....
September 10, 20214 yr Jesus, Ange Kelly really is terrible. If you can't win with this roster you really are terrible. Our next hire should be pretty obvious and it will be a good one.
September 10, 20214 yr Del Conte hired Eric Bell at TCU. Before Bell, TCU had never made the NCAA tournament. This will be their 6th straight NCAA tournament and they made the Elite 8 last year. They will make another deep run this season (in all likelihood). If Bell isn't the top choice I would be shocked.
September 12, 20214 yr We scored a touchdown against Rio Grande Valley. Texas improves their record to 2-3-2
September 17, 20214 yr Dozens in attendance to watch Trinity Beyers score the game winner against Samford in 2OT at Mike A. Meyers. Texas improves to 3-3-2 on the season
September 17, 20214 yr It really is. The great weather outside this evening wasn't enough to convince Texas fans to come out and watch this product
September 17, 20214 yr I guess my expectations are skewed by watching Premier league all the time but our lack of passing accuracy annoys me. We give away a lot of balls early in possessions.
September 20, 20214 yr This job should be very attractive for some coach assuming the roster stays together. Outside of Grosso all the top players are true FR. Byars, Missimo, Cox, Fung, and Ward are already the best players on the roster with Grosso. Every goal and assist today against SIUE was from a FR. This was one of the best recruiting classes in the country and I still think that's true. The problem is there isn't much outside of that FR class. No excuses for Kelly though as you don't get 2 or 3 years to develop this type class when you haven't had much success yet. Regardless, any coach with a brain should be able to see that FR class is pretty loaded and it wouldn't take much of a coaching job to turn things around quickly. September 26, 20214 yr I'm hoping this talented FR class doesn't save Kelly but these young players are starting to figure things out. Up 2-0 at the half on OU with two goals from FR. This would be 5 in a row with pretty good competition coming to Austin in the next few games. If Texas does make a coaching change I would be salivating at this roster with this FR class. Edited September 26, 20214 yr by texasstrong12
September 26, 20214 yr Up 3-0 on OU and third goal by a FR. Please get this FR class a good coach. Edited September 26, 20214 yr by texasstrong12
September 26, 20214 yr Now 3-2 after two quick OU goals. This is the most Ange Kelly experience. You're up 3-0 and all you have to do to win this game is get numbers behind the ball and play intelligently. Nope. We're up 3-0 and we're constantly getting caught forward...it makes no sense. Edited September 26, 20214 yr by texasstrong12
September 26, 20214 yr 3-3. This is incredible. 3-0 at the 50 minute mark and your win probability is like 99% in soccer. Ange Kelly should be Kiffin'ed based on this game alone.
September 26, 20214 yr Author Huge not surprise. And it was an own goal 😂 Edited September 26, 20214 yr by Js1
September 26, 20214 yr 4-3 Texas with 2 minutes to play. Certainly Kelly can't screw this up. I'm glad I paid $10 to witness this experience lol. Texas was completely dominating 55 minutes in and all it required to win this game was a little bit of coaching. Looks like we may still win but god this is bad. This FR class is so fucking loaded too if they just had a good coach. Edited September 26, 20214 yr by texasstrong12
September 26, 20214 yr 5 in a row. Two really good teams at home next (TCU and Tech) but if you can find a way to get maybe a draw and win this goes from a dumpster fire year to potentially being in the Big 12 race and making the tournament. I don't have much faith in Kelly at all but these FR are very good.
September 26, 20214 yr We blew a 3 goal lead but fortunately pulled it out 4-3. Fuck OU Edited September 26, 20214 yr by perfectchaos007
September 30, 20214 yr This is an ass kicking so far.. we can barely touch the ball down 0-1 early, tcu with multiple opportunities to make it more Edited September 30, 20214 yr by pacman
October 1, 20214 yr Both teams are dangerous in attack. I wouldn't be surprised if someone scores here.
October 1, 20214 yr Good result. Get a win at home vs another good team in Tech and this team is right in the Big 12 race. Those FR are starting to realize they can play with anyone.

October 3, 20214 yr Taking the girls today. Is it still free admission? And is there a concession stand open? They can’t go on campus with abundant snackage
October 3, 20214 yr Looking like Kelly might not even be able to fuck up all this talent. 6 matches unbeaten and real shot at the Big 12 championship.
October 3, 20214 yr Author 1-0 final. Texas now 7-3-3 and 3-0-1 in the Big 12. We still have Baylor and WV though who are also unbeaten in conf play. We host WV and go to Waco. Edited October 3, 20214 yr by Js1
October 3, 20214 yr That's the first match I've seen under Kelly where we had enough quality players where we could just hold possession and see out a game. It's nice not seeing 90 minutes of kick ball.

Baylor plays a lot like Tech. Physical and try to play balls over the top. Think the Texas style of play with possession will frustrate them much like Tech today. Granted, who the fuck knows with Kelly.
October 4, 20214 yr Up to #46 in RPI. We were like #180 a couple weeks ago. This has gone from a dumpster fire season to being in position to make the NCAA tournament and challenging for a Big 12 championship. Now don't screw it up Kelly.

Baylor #27 West Virginia #35 We have opportunities there. Other teams left: Iowa State #161 OSU #70 Kansas #96
October 9, 20214 yr 2-0 win against Iowa State. 8 matches unbeaten. Are we good? The next two matches @ Baylor and WV will likely decide the Big 12 but Texas has a real shot at this thing it seems.
October 9, 20214 yr It's soccer so the scores don't really indicate how much Texas dominated these last 2 games against Tech and Iowa State. Neither team really had scoring opportunities. Nice to finally see possession and a team that's just able to completely dictate how a game is played.
October 9, 20214 yr Author Baylor lost 2-1 to KU. Texas and WV are atop the Big 12 - Texas 4-0-1 and WV 2-0-1. WV has to play 6 more matches between tomorrow and the 28th. Texas only has 4 left between the 15th and 28th. Texas plays Friday in Waco and then has a layover of 6 days until they host WV. WV is playing tomorrow in Lawrence, hosting TCU on Thursday, hosting Tech on the 17th and then travels to Texas on the 21st. Texas should be far far fresher when WV comes to town.
October 10, 20214 yr Author KU knocks off WV 2-1. They aren’t easy at home - 2 wins, Baylor and WV Savor it, my friends Edited October 10, 20214 yr by Js1
