Whittington's training reminds me of Kirk Johnson. At some point, you need a little fat in your body to help cushion the hits in football.

I don’t know how you talked yourself into that one, but, no.

How are the guys on defense looking? Should be at full strength minus Josh Thompson, correct?

He’s had TWO hernia surgeries? Wtf?

Actually, 3 surgeries.....

"Head coach Tom Herman told Horns247 Friday that Whittington is recovering well after undergoing his third surgery, second since arriving at Texas, on the nagging sports hernia, which caused him to miss the majority of the 2019 season."

Had one to clear up scar tissue a month or so ago I think. Herman looks creepy as fuck in that picture.

Yup...

Whittington underwent surgery following the first week of the season and was later cleared to return to action midway through 2019. However, the running back continued to experience pain and soreness from the injury and was unable to make his long awaited return to the field.

“His recovery is going great," Herman said at the Alamo Bowl arrival press conference Friday afternoon. "He obviously had to have another procedure with complications from the prior surgery, but he’s in great hands with Dr. Meyers, who’s the best in the world.  We think we’re finally on the right track to progress, so hopefully by the time winter workouts start, he will be cleared to go.”
