August 13, 20196 yr Going to a free advance screening at the Alamo Drafthouse tomorrow. Looking forward to this one. Great cast.
August 19, 20196 yr Maybe you should have thought about that before hanging out with your dongs out doing cocaine.
August 19, 20196 yr The preview for next week looks awesome. Walton Goggins and Danny McBride together again!
August 19, 20196 yr This show is going to be good. Great opening show. I was sold when the wave pool turned on during the mass baptism.
August 19, 20196 yr McBride standing in front of the projector with the micropeen right by his mouth had me fucking rolling. I think he and Devine have good chemistry going for this. With Goodman playing the straight man to their shenanigans this just makes for great comedy. Edited August 19, 20196 yr by MissingInAction
August 19, 20196 yr Yeah really enjoyed the first episode. Several great moments, but "I hope he dies too, baby" and "Faggot!" both caught me off guard and had me rolling.
August 19, 20196 yr I think I am really going to like this, but I hope it can sustain an hour each week. I loved that Eastbound and Down and Vice Principals were both half hour shows.

I am in this camp.....thought the episode last night was uneven and wouldn't have thought to give the series a second chance were it not for the fact that McBride and his writing team delivered on Eastbound and Down and Vice Principals. Suspect it will get better but "dramedies" as this one appears to be shaping up as are a hard line to walk.
August 20, 20196 yr Author 30 min in and I can only think of this being Osteen and what Lakewood is really like.

August 26, 20196 yr I called the 3rd one being Gideon before he even took off the mask, much less when he rang the doorbell at the end of the episode.
August 26, 20196 yr You're one step ahead of Danny McBride, hornian. That's damn impressive. Kenny Powers puts John Huston to shame
August 26, 20196 yr I just watched 2015 Vacation and the actor playing the bullied older brother also played Gideon.
August 26, 20196 yr The actor that plays Gideon is also on “Santa Clarita Diet” - he’s the nerdy neighbor best friend of the Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore’s daughter.
August 26, 20196 yr And the youngest Gemstone, Kelvin is totally gay and in a relationship with the DMV guy that worships him, yes?

August 26, 20196 yr You sure you’re not confusing him with his scrotum-double from the weights scene?Best character so far. Should center a show around him.

August 28, 20196 yr Scott MacArthur, biggest role was The Mick. Virginia Gardner is Lucy.Kinda hot. Nice cans too.
August 29, 20196 yr lmao when they was haggling about spliting the money.. 1/8 to the church 50/50 split....
September 2, 20196 yr Yeah wtf with the dicks. Also, knew I recognized Johnny Seasons with his dipshit Peaky Blinders haircut. Dermot Mulroney, apparently not identified anywhere in the cast. Edited September 2, 20196 yr by TwiceHorn
September 2, 20196 yr Agree. The dick to bewbz ratio is all out of proportion so far. Not good. I did laugh at the sister- "stick it in his bottom". She's definitely got a dark side to her.
