September 1, 20196 yr Coco got rekt. Oh well. Like McEnroe said before the match it may be better for Coco long term to lose the match. Too much success too early could have negative effects...at least that’s the rationale

Especially after the shit she had to endure in last year’s final and then Serena making the awards ceremony about herself... Osaka has a lifetime get out of the doghouse free pass in my book. PS- I like Coco I guess, but love that Osaka steamrolled her ass.
September 1, 20196 yr BBC's article about Naomi being a rock star with Coco and the tweets from others basically say "Naomi is such a better person than Serena." https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/49539902
September 1, 20196 yr Serena’s tendency to roll her ankle severely surely isn’t tied to her weight. Nope.

September 1, 20196 yr Crowd half full for Svitolina Keys. If this match followed Djokovic Wawrinka, it would be much 30% or less fullSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
September 2, 20196 yr That Djokovic retirement was disappointing. It was a high level of tennis and then seemingly out of the blue he shook hands. The crowd was stunned and that’s why a lot of boos could be heard

I mentioned that to a guy watching at the gym when Stan broke in the middle of the 2nd set to get back on serve. I then said that this could be straight sets. Three years ago I watched Stan’s awesome backhand in person in Arthur Ashe against my boy Delpo and they were lasers. Stan could be in for another title.
September 2, 20196 yr Big opportunity for Fed with the Djoker out. Dimitrov and then Stan/Medvedev winner is a very do-able path to the Finals.

September 3, 20196 yr Highlight of the Day: PS- Monfils is quietly kicking ass. He’s a meltdown waiting to happen, so we’ll see.
September 4, 20196 yr Love him and he's the GOAT (for now), but of the big 3 Federer is the most prone to playing like an idiot.
September 4, 20196 yr Did anyone watch Stan’s match? After crushing his backhands vs Djokovic, something must not have been clicking today.
September 4, 20196 yr Oof. Looked so promising for Federer after set #3, but he's let it slip away again.
September 4, 20196 yr Big Berrettini guy by which I mean I watched him play in person randomly so I'm rooting for him.
September 4, 20196 yr Would love to see the couple move on to the semis. Monfils on the men’s and Svitolina on the women’s
September 4, 20196 yr Berrettini has yet to show he can be competitive on Monfils serve which is going to make winning difficult. He won 5 points on Monfils serve in the first set.
September 4, 20196 yr What a fascinating match. The humidity got to Monfils and he looked like he'd be done in four sets, but they closed the roof for rain and that helped him. Berrettini had major lemon booty serving for the match in the fifth and gagged it away but rallied in the tiebreak. Nadal is the only player left in the men's draw who can keep a player born in the 1990s from winning a grand slam for the first time.
