The QB looks like he has a really live arm.  Looks tall too, pretty good size.

Was just reading up on him. Hawaii was his only offer (presumably div 1 offer).

Dude is chilling in Hawaii with A&M's money. He doesn't give a shit.

Thanks to a raise and contract extension awarded to him in 2013, Sumlin is still entitled to the $10 million he would have been paid if he hadn't been fired by A&M, according to his employment contract.

That means Sumlin will join the ranks of several other coaches from Texas who will be paid millions by state schools not to lead their teams anymore.

According to his contract, Sumlin earned a base salary of $5 million per year. His deal entitled him to all that pay through the end of his contract — Dec. 31, 2019 — unless he was fired "with cause" for some kind of criminal or NCAA rules violation. Sumlin was accused of no wrongdoing when he was dismissed; he simply didn't win enough games.

With a little more than two years left on the deal, Sumlin is owed more than $10 million.

What's more, there's no clause in the contract allowing A&M to reduce what it owes Sumlin if he gets a new job at a new school.

Waco (I think Midway HS).  Went JUCO and ended up in Hawaii.  Not a bad landing spot.

How long does Summy last in Az?  Think he’ll be the coach a year from now?

that is a good question complicated by the fact that it is AU in the PAC 12

in the 2017-18 Fiscal year they had $95.87 million in revenues and $103.3 in expenses and that is including a $12.46 million academic side subsidy (with only $1.3 million of that from a new student fee he other $11+ million in a direct transfer)

so even with almost $12.5 million in academic side subsidies they still LOST $7.43 million in a single year

shit like that makes it hard to fire a high paid coach after only two seasons

plus this is a program that kept Mike Stoopsie for 8 seasons.....8 fucking season...

Faruta Toota Fresh and Fruita just coughed it up.

Edit:  Those are awesome helmets for Hawaii
