in the age of mobile phone videos, people don’t have a problem for calling out police. 10 years ago that cop would have found a reason to arrest the people complaining and filming.  I know those bogus arrest still happen today but cops are probably aware that they’re one filmed incident away from losing their job  getting a paid vacation before moving on to the next town.

its unfortunate that it’s come to this but the police as whole are to blame for not weeding the bad ones.

I still assume that the people yelling at the cop are more upset that he most likely cut in line by just making the dessert himself.  Whether he pays or not, is between him and the McDonald’s crew.

I think back to the 65 y.o. lady that ended up getting tazed over a broken tail light a few weeks ago. She wouldn't sign the ticket and rolled up her window. Cop escalated it to "You're under arrest." I think she drove off, then got pulled out and tazed.

Seems like he could have explained to her that there would be consequences for not signing it. He skipped several steps in between that could have made it go smoother.

Of all the police stories, that’s the one you point to? Not sure what else that cop could’ve done. The batshit lady completely refused to comply with lawful - and perfectly legitimate - orders.

I don't remember him letting her know what the consequences would be. Did he? Or did he just say get out of the car, you're under arrest?

Go back and watch it for yourself. https://www.khq.com/top_video/watch-oklahoma-officer-deploys-taser-on--year-old-woman/video_16bc3584-b46a-11e9-b487-13cb32a96b42.html

You're right though. There are countless cases to pick from.

stop signs must bother the fuck out of you.

They never tell me what's gonna happen if I ignore them.   Therefore i should ignore them, right?

Hahahaha... you misspelled “one filmed incident away from a three month paid vacation.”
