November 20, 20196 yr I think Jason Garrett has been holding down his offensive and defensive scheming for two years, just waiting for this matchup against America's other team. He's been setting up Belichick. This week, he is pouring all of his knowledge, all of his staff's accumulated brain power into an unstoppable tsunami of football prowess. The players will come out of the tunnel breathing fire, veins popping. I'm thinking Pats, 35-10. Prove me wrong. Edited November 20, 20196 yr by Irish Wrist Watch

Jason actually had a great chance to beat the Pats on the road in 2011 in his first full season as head coach. We were up late and had a chance to put the game away but in true Jason fashion, we went into a shell and got conservative. Ran 3 straight runs into the line and punted. Brady got the ball back and went down our throats and they won.

November 21, 20196 yr Looks like Sanu is gonna be out a few week, but he will almost certainly miss our game. Phillip Dorsett is currently in concussion protocol. So the question is, what no named wr are we about to make famous? Because outside of Edelman and James White, that offense has nobody. Edited November 21, 20196 yr by youdunnf'dup

They could play Edelman at QB and still push Garrett to the brink.

November 22, 20196 yr Author Uhm...... yikes. Remember, a number of teams had taken him off their board because of neck issues going into the draft. Cowboys' doctors game him a clean bill of health.
November 22, 20196 yr This won’t be a high scoring game, I’m thinking it will be like last years game vs New Orleans. Maybe 20-13 New England with NE eating up about 8 minutes on a drive at end of game and kicking a field goal with 45 seconds left to ice it They will double cooper and drop 8 taking away passing game and see if Zeke can beat them which he can’t.

He has been pretty bad all the way around. Nothing like last year and it started with the Rams game. In fact, the entire LB core since that game has been bad.

Neck and upper back are linked. Also, it probably explains his poor play but the biggest concern is did we draft a lemon, while other teams red flagged him and took him off the board. It's not about the fact that he's out this week, it's how serious is this injury? Garrett doesn't think it's season or career ending, but frankly, who gives a shit what he thinks. He'll just parrot org spin. It's a unfortunate situation. Hoping the best for the kid. Edited November 22, 20196 yr by Patrick Bateman

November 22, 20196 yr And the fact that the term 'career threatening' is even brought up is very concerning. If he is in fact a lemon and this is why all those teams passed on him, that would be such a Cowboys draft pick.

November 22, 20196 yr Author This sounds about right..... all about money, nothing else. What would be his 5th quote I wonder?
November 22, 20196 yr Garrett unprovoked throwing out career threatening means they at least have considered it may be career threatening. Hopefully not. This game is zero pressure because no one in their right mind expects the cowboys can win this game. Belichick against Garrett is like a physics contest between Albert Einstein and Dax Shepherd's character in Idiocracy. That said, if they can manage to squeak it out somehow it would be huge, especially if the eagles manage to lose at home to Seattle. That would give them a two game lead with 5 to play and means they would need to beat the eagles and only one of the remaining 4 teams to clinch the division. If they lose as predicted and the eagles beat the Seahawks then it's looking a lot worse being tied with a team that has 4 cupcake games in their last 5. A lot riding on those two games.
November 22, 20196 yr LVE has a questionable neck injury? Fuck. Guess he can become the new ST coach.

November 23, 20196 yr Brady questionable because of a right elbow injury? Could the Cowboys be that lucky?
November 23, 20196 yr I really hate the fact that tonight I ran into two totally neutral NFL fans who are all over Dallas to win at NE Sunday. They're giving me false hope and they're going to make Sunday even worse when NE whips out their devil magic against a coaching staff that is befuddled by Adam Gase, much less Belichick.
November 23, 20196 yr Brady questionable because of a right elbow injury? Could the Cowboys be that lucky?Julian Edelman could make our defense look silly if he had to.But there is 0 chance Brady does not play.
November 23, 20196 yr Brady better play. This shitty cowboys staff has lucked into so much this year and squandered the majority of it with sheer stupidity. At this point they need to either show they can get it done or take a massive beating but either way it needs to come against the best.

Saw a bunch of talking heads and fans saying how this was just "coach speak", and, like with garrett, take nothing he says seriously. But I've seen people up there say he almost never talks about opponents, specifically players, like this.

He probably says stuff like that about an opposing QB right before he completely dismantles him on the field. I totally believe the Cowboys COULD beat the Patriots. But then they would probably turn around and lose to Buffalo on Thanksgiving at home.
November 24, 20196 yr Every variable is pointing to classic Garrett turtle up style go big up front and try to pound the ball between the tackles only to have Belichick completely smoke Zeke like a blunt all game. I see a ton of 2nd and 9, 10, and 11 in this game for the Cowboys. On defense if they haven't fixed their bullshit line alignments then Belichick will just do a variation on what Zimmer did and run stretch plays right at Quinn while getting OL up to the backers with regularity. The cowboys undisciplined defense will once again over-pursue like crazy and get burned by screen after screen and misdirection play after misdirection play. The patriots will use a level of deception to punish this defense that I've been calling for from the cowboys offense for years. This has classic Garrett fucks it up and loses to a lesser talented team with a 42 yr old QB. 27-13
November 25, 20196 yr Author It's definitely time.... regardless of what happens, other than a SB run. It's time and Jerrah needs a scapegoat.
November 25, 20196 yr It's over for Garrett. You have to win that game today against a patchwork offense that Tom didn't, and still doesn't, haven't any confidence in. Big breakdown on the punt protection that killed Dallas. Coaching, period. Then the idiotic decision to kick a FG deep in Pats territory in the 2H when you weren't going to see that side of the field again. Wow.

Then the idiotic decision to kick a FG deep in Pats territory in the 2H when you weren't going to see that side of the field again. Wow. It was more than that. It was also the play calls leading up to it to put them in that position. 2nd and 7 and you can get a first down without scoring a touchdown. So, 3 plays to get 7 yards. You have the highest paid running back in the league. And it’s cold and raining. 3 fucking plays to get 7 yards. And what do you do? Waste 2 plays taking 2 unnecessary shots at the end zone. Boom...it’s 4th and 7. Which leads to making the next horrible decision to kick when 3 points is as worthless as 0 in that situation. Fucking horrible coaching.
November 25, 20196 yr Nobody gave us much of a chance going into this game and now we are going to cry about losing after that bs tripping call(twice by the way) cost us the 3rd down conversion?Yeah we can complain about the fg as we still needed a td to win, but whose to say we wouldnt have kept drive on schedule without that dumb tripping call.I want garrett gone but this game doesnt have any say in that imo...beat rams, bears, bills and eagles then we'll see if we can make a run in the playoffs.
