If you schedule them make sure you know to defend a jet sweep.

Absolutely true.  UNI kids are all Hawkeyes fans who didn't get recruited by UI.  But feel slighted if they then didn't get recruited by lowly ISU.  UNIs qb today was a preferred walk on to ISU as a DB but went to UNI so he could play qb.  He was desperate to "show us" today.  Just like all the other Iowa kids on UNIs roster.

Which is why we should never fucking play them ever

Which is funny because isn't that what every Iowa fan says about playing ISU?

Don't insult Howard by lumping them in with Tennessee.

The second part for sure.

And of course you're (and them for that matter) ignoring that us and Iowa are both D1 schools playing in P5 conferences and always have.  I'm not looking down on UNI - they're one of the better FCS schools year in and year out, and they beat us far more often than they actually should, which is a testament to their talent and effort (and our lack of both).

When ISU beats Iowa, we pretty much always go on to a better or equal season.  There's one year where a terrible ISU team beat a good Iowa team (2014) and in 2002 an ISU team that started hot and ended mediocre beat Ferentz's best team.  Outside of that, if we win, either we both suck, we're both ok, or we're ok and they suck.
