Cool.  For BBQ, Brotherton's Black Iron BBQ in Pflugerville is very tasty and relatively close.

For Tex-Mex, Vazquez Taqueria is a little hole in the wall on East Braker that's really god.  If you want more of a full restaurant experiencce, then Maudie's on North Lamar is close.  There's also a Chuy;s on North Lamar if that's your thing.

santorini cafe on north lamar for greek.

Saw that on google maps and lots of good reviews. Will try tomorrow for lunch.

Not mexican or bbq but if you want chicken and waffles or soul food, check out the Rolling Rooster at Wells Branch and Mopac.  Been there a few times and it's a nice changeup from the normal fare.

brotherton is what i was going to say also.  also el faro at wells branch and wells port is good, especially their lunch buffet.

I'm looking for a place to get a good salad. If y'all are familiar with Barnaby's in Houston, I'm looking for a place like that. Good, fresh Caesar salad with grilled chicken and fresh bacon bits.

Any suggestions?
