Anybody seen this kid play?  High rated EDGE early on for this class, but I don't see a single offer from any Texas school on his 247 page.

https://247sports.com/Player/Enow-Etta-46112945/

TCU offered at the end of July.

From the k-st guy:

Quote

Etta is a big bodied defensive end that is all about power in his pass rush. Though not overwhelmingly fast, he's nimble enough to maneuver around offensive tackles he can't push around. He's a physical presence who sets the edge well and forces opponents into uncomfortable situations as they try to evade his tackling radius.

Where are the Alabama connections on staff? Milwee?

Otherwise, why the fuck are we wasting time here? I mean, we’re still wasting time even with connections, but at least it’s an excuse.

I'm ok with Bo Davis recruiting whoever he wants from wherever he wants.

I would love to live in a world where the Texas Longhorns in the SEC make Alabama, LSU, Florida, Jawja and Mississippi protect their borders from being raided after those pine curtain kids see Austin, DKR, Lake Travis, and miles and miles of Texas.

Sark must win. Strong finish with Big 12 Title. Enter SEC next year and turn over a few tables at the party.

Then you have to imagine some kids in the deep south wanting something a little more southwestern with a good degree  and maximum NIL potential.

Work hard, Longhorns. You could give a real start instead of the false starts here and there the last fucking decade.

Damn, that’s a lot of scholarships we’ve offered him!

Watch the film. You'll see why. I bet we offer him another one before mid-season.

He's. That. Good.

David Hicks is now the #3 composite player in the nation.  Arch #1.

But my reply was more tongue in cheek.

I figured it was, but was unable to see the context. Now it makes sense. Thanks.

TFB for anyone interested in Gas instead of the brakes of the 22 thread

As you know, the pursuit of Isidore-Newman 2023 five star QB Arch Manning is full speed ahead.

Spoke with a source on the Texas side of things who voiced some confidence to say the least. Source told me straight up:

“We are going to get him.”

Still a lot of time to go in this recruitment, but the confidence is there on the Texas side.

Now time for the brakes here, our staff also felt that way about 2022 class recruits before shitting the bed

Take it back to 2022 thread. Also 2022 has a lot more working against it than 2023

IMO, TFB has been the only reliable source since the start of 2021. Let's hope they're right

Well, that's a direct quote from a staff source. And this staff thinks they're getting everyone right up until they post the maroon or electric green Hayes Fawcett edit.

True, but even with their sources, they've been accurate. First to mention Sark as the guy and they were the first to tell us Banks was going to Oregon as well. They seem to have some solid sources most of the time, but this could definitely be a case of the staff thinking errrrrybody

A QB from a family of professional quarterbacks playing for Sark makes a lot more sense than some of those other recruitments. QB recruiting is different.

Is he still podcasting or just writing?

If Arch knows he's going to Texas, he needs to announce that shit early enough to try to make an impact on 2022 OL and WR recruits.

Arch knows; he's just trying to confirm his own intentions via Roach putting in a crystal ball.

— I stopped by South Oak Cliff today to see 2023 Texas defensive back offers Jayvon Thomas and Malik Muhammad. There isn't much new with either of them as they head into their junior seasons. Muhammad is looking to cut his list of 40 offers down to ten and he wants to see who shows him that they want him on September 1 when schools can officially contact them. Thomas said Texas was the visit that stood out the most to him and he's looking forward to getting back for a game. He also wants to see Notre Dame, Alabama and LSU this season. Neither prospect is in a hurry to make a move.

Any chance Arch graduates a year early to take the starting job next year? 😅

You don't think his uncles have their hands out, trying to get in on the action? Everyone has an uncle.
