Switches positions.  Loyal.  Fights harder than most I’ve seen in 30 years.  That man will NFL, if he chooses.  I’m proud he’s a Longhorn.

  • BAD MUTHA FUCKR !!! 🤘   THANK YOU ROJO !!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

  • Congratulations, Ro!

Meltdown threads are best threads. You're not wrong though.

at RB.  Need to find an Andrew Beck type FB too.

Not quite a meltdown thread, he just looks great out there at RB. He's probably the future at QB or RB, whatever he wants.

Every time Ingram runs we are leaving yards on the field. Pull him

He has mastered the forward fall.

I noticed this too.  That's the qb instinct.

I'm shocked how good he is. He was a dual threat and his legs were a part of his game, but it's not like he was thought to have Braxton Miller's running abilities.

Good for him. He's earning snaps.

At running back I should've clarified lol

He looks promising.  Kid is physical and runs hard.  He's not a starter though

Who is at RB?

This right here. Ingram reminds me of Henry Shelton tippy toeing, dancing a round trying to find the gap.

I had to look "Ro Jo" up.  He's #2.  Yes, start him.

BTW, have you hear about Bo Jo?  He's not as good as Ro Jo.  Bo Jo is prime minister.

I honestly think the coaches mess him up with saying he's too impatient and needs to wait for holes to show up. Watson last season hit holes fast and was better up the middle. RJ hasn't been corrupted by it yet. Sure, there are times when waiting for blocks to develop is the way, but it wasn't tonight. Not with a D like LSU's.

There was no doubt he sparked the offense tonight.

I'm sure he has a lot to learn about playing the position, but damn the way he dove and fought for every single yard on every play made me want to get out on the field with him.

That shit is contagious and it was a much needed boost at that point in this game.

If we wanted to, he could probably run for 300 yards against Rice. I’ve seen enough to be on Team Leave Him at RB.

Ingram takes too long to get going on any run play. Roschon seems to be much quicker and more decisive.

I worry about ball security since he's new to the position, but he reads holes well and hits them and tends to fall forward for an extra yard.  I like him.

He picks up blitzes like a senior, and not one of those pre-Madonnas who thinks blocking is for scrubs. Dude is straight baller all the way around.

Ingram fucks himself because he doesn't trust the hole will be there, nothing about being corrupted

Shug is a dog, he's always displayed the kind of poise and maturity you want in a player. He provided the spark for the offense at the beginning of the second half. He's one of those guys that will just fucking make a play if you put the ball in his hands. He was good in blitz pickup too.

I want to give Ingram the benefit of the doubt that his knee may be bothering him, and I don't want to disregard his potential. But damn, RJ is really impressive. If I were Tom, I'd be really tempted to permanently move him to RB.

I was surprised at how well RJ was picking up blocks. He's a physical guy, but can elude tacklers also.

I have no idea what kind of passer he is but I've heard that he was very much a work in progress there, but he is already a complete running back and that would most likely be where his NFL future would lie.

RoJo & Sam should be getting 100% of the carries near the goal line. Ingram & his tentative running style and stone hands are terrible in those situations.

Ingram has shown some flashes here and there, bum knee or no, and he has put on good weight.

I'm still high on Ingram, too.  He's got room to grow, but he shows flashes.

He hasn’t looked out of place. Idk what happened to Ingram today. Maybe he just had a stinker, but I’m far from giving up on him like a surprising Mount of ppp on here.

Ingram looked to be in his own head tonight.  The missed TD and then the fumble not too much later.  RB is still our biggest weakness in my opinion and the injuries have inflamed the problem.  If our program were truly healthy, we would have a junior RB getting the bulk of the work with a junior or sophomore backup.  Freshmen would only play in spurts to give a breather, and hopefully be difference makers.

hopefully that is what we will have next year

Ingram needs some slump busters (like Rice) to build some confidence

In on Roschon Johnson. He made an impact on game that Ingram couldn't. I'd like to see about 10-12 touches a game for him going forward.

whichever one can catch a gimme in the fucking endzone in the biggest game of the year should starts

He’s probably not healthy, and he was in his head after that drop. Roshon is a gamer. I don’t think I’d start him, but I’d get some more snaps for him. He runs hard and decisive. He’s pretty solid in blitz pickup. I’d like to see him try a RB pass.

On second thought, Ingram should still start because I think his season is still salvageable and Shug will likely hit a freshman wall at SOME point. That said, Shug should get equal or more carries than Ingram until proven otherwise.

I don't care who starts, I just want him to get significant playing time.  He has that nose for the first down market that David Thomas had.  He certainly looks like a running back to me.

If Ingram has a confidence issue, he needs a chance to work through it, and Rice could be just what the doctor ordered.  We're gonna need both of those guys going forward.

Ingram, RoJo, Whitt are going to be a force no Def. wants to try and stop.  If RoJo continues to show out, perhaps Whitt takes over DevDuv role, especially with what is coming next year at RB.
