Would love to hear some actual solutions to that crap show defense and not coach speak excuses. Not sure playing Rice will truly show pass coverage improvement.

If anyone even gets close to anything resembling "you have to watch out for Rice, they might not be on everyone's playoff list but they can do damage" or anything resembling that Rice is anything but a woeful D-1 or community college team, (i.e. inflating bullshit gas into the opponent to exaggerate the significance of the upcoming win by 40), I'm going to throw up.

Not going to happen, coaches dont give actual solutions to a problem in a press conference.

Youll get the we have things we need to look at and make adjustments

You look at Rice over there and it's just all about the tradition of that dude who got his head blown off in Dallas asking why does Rice play Texas?

Doesn't show up on the Big 12 website, but I'll take this as truth......only decent game on the conference schedule, so figured it would be night game.

On Ro Jo at RB: looks like he’s been doing it for awhile. He didn’t flinch. He made some nice runs. I am happy with his progress.

Q on play of safeties and easy throws over the middle

A: we gotta get better everywhere on that side of the ball, including coaches.

Kurt asks about the LSU fake injuries. Herman has to correct his assertion in the question, of course.

Kurt always trying to get that fiery quote to make a name for himself. Oh yes, Herman is going to call out LSU for faking injuries on a day when the heat index on the field was 110+

I swear every reporter that covers Texas is a closet sooner or aggy

He just wants to do well really badly.   He will probably have a good game against Rice and get his confidence back, case cured.
