Did your dog put the toilet paper roll on backwards?

I had a German Shepherd that was amazing. Easily trainable, loved all kids, acted like a Secret Service agent whenever a stranger showed up but as previously mentioned didn't go into kill mode.

My GS thought of herself as a lap dog and would jump in my lap to cuddle despite being a really big ass dog.

My grandmother had a German Shepherd named Drambuie that was awesome to us as little kids but would get real serious when my uncle would have friends over including one bite to the neck of a 6 footer.

Also would TAKE OFF if the front door was left open.  That was a real pain in the ass.

Yeah, my GS was pretty skeptical of male strangers. She wasn't aggressive but would keep a close eye on things until we let her know everything was cool then she would relax but still eyeball the males.

She was cool as long as everyone was calm or avoided walking towards our boys when they were toddlers in which case she would make her presence known without growing or barking.
