I greatly respect Joe's resilience after so much terrible personal loss.  But hearing him talk about it 4 years ago, when his words were terribly powerful, versus just now, is like night and day.

  • Castro also went hard after Pete in the first debate.  Every time Castro talks, I like him less, even when I agree with what he's saying.  The guy's a first-rate prick.  He's the male Hillary.

Kamala has a posture and cadence like she's about half into a smirk, not taking it seriously or about to chuckle - it works great when she's ripping into someone, not as great when she's telling her story.

Pete is awesome. Liz has a lot more experience, but Pete should be a star in the future. If he miraculously got the nomination that would be great.

Where the hell did Booker pick up "dagnabbit"?   Did he used to be a gold prospector in the old west or something?

Beto and Warren won this debate.  Bernie’s sore throat was unfortunate because he debates well.   Harris did better than expected.  Pete was meh.

I know it won't happen but the two most Presidential people on stage are Harris and Buttigieg.

Based on our current President my dog seems pretty presidential.

Klobuchar:  resilience is your aide bringing your salad without a fork, and then dealing with that setback by using a hair comb instead!

I think Booker could be a good VP but not sure if he has enough strategic value in that role coming from New Jersey.

He's done really well in these debates, but he's the ultimate empty suit

Now Biden can go home and listen to his phonograph before nodding off in the easy chair

You sound like a broken record on a phonograph.

Yeah, because they loved the last corporate, moderate Dem that ran.

CNN panel apologizing for Biden is funny.  “He gets lost, gives odd answers, but is getting closer to making me not cringe, which is a great sign!”

He kept his teeth in his mouth instead of spitting them out, that’s a win!

Klobuchar on CNN.

Man, I hope her hairspray isn't an aerosol, or the climate's even more fucked tomorrow.
