and your picks for best movie are shit.

I've thrown of more pos rep on this thread than almost any other.

OP should give himself a wedgie, a swirly, then go take a nap in a locker.

Edited by Bateshorn

seriously-  Bottle shock vs Die Hard?????

and Richard Harris was fucking nails in Unforgiven.   Got the ever living shit beat out of him by Little Bill because he kept popping off about the Queen being a better option than a President

and Gary Oldman's best role by a mile was The professional

this better be a copy and paste list and not something the OP came up with on his own

Yeah I LOVE me some Dexter in True Romance, but that was basically a cameo.

I'd go with The Professional.

And yeah... Bottle Shock over Die Hard is unforgivable.  Delete post / ban user.

WAT

He was fun to watch in that role, and certainly the bright spot in an otherwise "meh" movie, but he was basically playing a hammed up version of Hans.

Plus, as a movie, Die Hard is roughly eleventy billion times better than Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

It doesn’t seem to be a list of their best movies, but movies where they just sort of appear.  Thus the no Die Hard

But then I don’t get some of them even under that requirement, because Gleeson was a lead in Bruges.  Same with Branagh in Henry V

The idea of this was to list the other movies of the great actors in HP movies for my daughter.  It's a list that needs revising, especially with y'all's input. But the list had way too many actors on it and I didn't even include the shit ton of kid actors that were on this list.

I've never seen Die Hard.  Lived abroad when it came out and have never had the urge to see it on the small screen.

This is like the entire British film industry. There's so much cross pollination and intrigue among these people.

Like Gilderoy Lockhart was married to Prof. Trelawney, until he had an affair with Bellatrix Lestrange which broke up their marriage. They all appeared in the same movie series and they probably never had to come face to face with each other.

Not sure I would admit this.

You still talking about that queen of yours, Bob? On Independence Day?

Yeah, like wine guy in bottle shock over Hans Gruber in Die Hard. Hell, Rickman was awesome in Galaxy Quest. I just hope OP cut and pasted that list or is getting paid for it.

A Gary Oldman discussion without mentioning his semonal work in this magnificent production.

I have no idea what the fuck any of that means but I would totally see that movie before "Bottle Shock."

I will watch anything with Bellatrix Lastrange in it.

You are not alone OP, I’ve also never seen Die Hard. It came out before I was even born. I always thought it looked boring, didn’t much care to see it.

Bottle Shock wasn't bad.  I actually found to to be a nice little movie.  But obviously Die Hard is iconic.

Where is the Star Trek & Star Wars fan fic from the old site when you need it?

I was in junior high, dickhead!

I’m stunned that any adult man hasn’t seen Die Hard. That’s the most shocking thing I’ve read in some time.

And The Guard is Gleeson’s best movie where he’s the lead. Great story and hilarious. Seek it out. It has Don Cheadle and Mark Strong and the guy who played The Onion Knight.

Gangs of New York is best movie Gleeson’s ever been in.

The people writing that stuff are too busy telling us how they didn't see Diehard, and have no desire to.

How is Diehard not in some of these people's Christmas rotation, along with A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown, Christmas Vacation, Elf, The Santa Clause, Home Alone, Muppets Christmas Carol (or the John Denver Special), Gremlins, Bad Santa, Holiday Inn, Grinch, It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, etc?

What the hell do they watch with their kids/family at Christmas?
