New Jeff Tweedy album "Warm" is out 11/30 in case it hasn't been mentioned already.

I don't know how many Regina Spektor fans there are here, but she recently released a new song

Guess this doesn't really qualify as "new music in 2018" but there are hints of a full-on Doves comeback in addition to the two shows they've committed to. This pleases me.

Manchester rock trio Doves have announced their return to live performance following a nearly decade-long hiatus that began in 2010. Jez Williams, Andy Williams and Jimi Goodwin will reunite to play Roger Daltrey’s annual Teenage Cancer Trust benefit shows, headlining Royal Albert Hall in London on March 29, 2019. Doves have also announced they will support Noel Gallagher at Dublin Malahide Castle in July as well. The band last shared a stage together in October 2010, a year after the release of their album Kingdom of Rust.

Having been on hiatus since 2010, the Manchester trio this week announced their return and first gigs in nine years – headlining a Teenage Cancer Trust gig at Royal Albert Hall, as well as supporting Noel Gallagher at Heaton Park next summer.

Is someone going to start the Best Albums of 2018 thread?

Send your votes to NOMAAA. Put at least 150 on your list.

I like both of these a lot.

The Raconteurs are my favorite Jack White vehicle.  Consolers of the Lonely is the best album he’s put out.
