September 17, 20196 yr Bovada going to allow live game adjusted pay outs on open bets. NFL and NCAAF will begin week 5. Not sure if it will let you do that before the game begins or not, which would be interesting.

Quote An American bookmaker was found dead after he went missing in Costa Rica nearly a year ago, the nation's justice officials told ESPN on Monday. The body of William Sean Creighton, 43, based in Costa Rica and originally from West Virginia, was found last week in a cemetery in the small fishing town of Quepos, according to a statement from the nation's judicial investigation department (OIJ). A cause of death could not be confirmed because "it isn't clear yet," according to the statement. "We can confirm Costa Rican authorities identified the remains of a U.S. citizen in Costa Rica," a spokesperson for the U.S. State Department said in a statement Monday afternoon in response to ESPN's request for comment about Creighton's death. "We offer our sincerest condolences to the family on their loss. We are closely monitoring local authorities' investigation into the cause of death. We stand ready to provide all appropriate consular assistance. Out of respect to the family during this difficult time, we have no further comment." Creighton founded and ran 5Dimes, a popular online sportsbook headquartered in San Pedro, located in the mountainous interior next to Costa Rica's capital city. The site has served bettors in the U.S. for two decades. Creighton grew up in Bridgeport, West Virginia, and was the son of William Creighton, the owner of Giant Eagle grocery stores. After graduating from West Virginia University in 1998 with a degree in business administration, he moved to Costa Rica to launch 5Dimes a year later. In 2016, the Department of Homeland Security revealed it was investigating 5Dimes for money laundering, according to a seizure warrant filed in U.S. District Court that year. In the warrant, an agent detailed how he believed 5Dimes instructed bettors based in the U.S. to use gift cards as a way to place and later cash out bets. The federal government has never brought charges against 5Dimes or Creighton. The investigation remains open. The Costa Rican OIJ said in January that Creighton was abducted after leaving the 5Dimes office on Sept. 24, 2018. According to OIJ, Creighton was driving through the neighborhood of Granadilla de Curridabat around 10 p.m. when two Costa Rican traffic officers flashed their lights and pulled him over. Four men in a rented, gray pickup truck then arrived on the scene and abducted Creighton, authorities said. Early the following morning, Creighton's relatives received a $5 million ransom demand, according to OIJ. Ultimately, a $1 million ransom was paid in bitcoin, OIJ said. A representative for 5Dimes declined comment when contacted by ESPN. In January, authorities conducted raids in Costa Rica and Spain, leading to the arrest of 12 people believed to be involved in Creighton's disappearance, according to the OIJ statement at the time. Three suspects -- Jordan Morales Vega, whom investigators say was the leader of the abduction and in the pickup truck during Creighton's kidnapping; his mother, Guiselle Vega Aguirre; and companion Maria Fernanda Solis Chaves -- were extradited from Spain to Costa Rica in late April and are awaiting trial. The suspects are being investigated for the crime of extortive kidnapping, according to the Costa Rica Office of Public Ministry. The Costa Rican government has not yet said how it discovered Creighton's body, nor how investigators identified his remains, which were discovered a roughly three-hour drive from the suspected abduction site. The Office of Public Ministry has not yet announced if it will bring any additional charges now that Creighton's death has been confirmed.
September 17, 20196 yr We're an 18.5 pt dog to Wazzu in Pullman. And what is worse if I were forced to bet, it would be on the Cougs.
September 17, 20196 yr Hey, if forced to bet, if you want to be fair you could always bet the Under. Which is probably the smart play since UCLA hasn't broken past the 14 barrier yet this year.

September 19, 20196 yr Anyone done live betting on betonline? Unless I’m reading it wrong, two of the bets for uh/Tulane tonight are: 1) no td over 54yds (+100). 2) no team gets three consecutive scores (+209). The first, ok can see that going either way but how often do two even teams not trade fg or td? I guess a lot by the line but just can’t picture it...
September 19, 20196 yr Right, that was my initial hesitation but I figure bookies don’t have to be underhanded in order to get MORE of my money. That said, couldn’t find the rules explanation either...
September 20, 20196 yr If tonight is any indication it's going to be a wild ride this weekend. As long as that fraud Harbaugh does fraud things, everything else is gravy.
September 20, 20196 yr bet a dollar.27 that the game would go to OT, paying out 23.30...damn that TD!
September 20, 20196 yr Wow. Woke up to a win. Wish i had stayed up for the ending. I totally gave up on Tulane.
September 20, 20196 yr Stanford Steve Week 4 picks: Tulsa -3.5 Aggie -3.5 🤮 Georgia St +3 ND +14.5 NW +8.5 Bama team total Over 49
September 20, 20196 yr So what’s the best way to find out if those auburn players are playing tomorrow? Google? The thread on the football board? Might just bet a couple bucks on aggy so I win either with aggy tears or making $.

September 20, 20196 yr I usually like to sprinkle in some dogs instead of going all chalk like most of you fools, but I don't see a lot of dogs I like this week. I like Wisc -3.5, LaTech -7, Tulsa -3.5. Someone talk me out of South Carolina +9.5 Edited September 20, 20196 yr by TornACL
September 20, 20196 yr tell me why i shouldn't do this parlay... baylor -26 at rice. ohio state -24 first half against miami ohio at home. lsu -27 at vandy. georgia -7 first half against notre. oregon -7 first half at stanford. michigan straight up at wisconsin. $100 to win $8K after buying down half point in georgia and ohio state. i like wisconsin in their game though so i made bet 2 which is all the same except wisconsin money line instead of michigan. pays out $5.5K instead of $8K so go blue.
September 20, 20196 yr So far I’ve take Note: Utah Sate -4 Washington -7 Air Force +7.5 Auburn +4 Texas -7 SMU +8 Notre Dame +14.5 & Utah -4 I pretty much give my money away but it makes the games interesting. (Dumb question amnesty) what does the term Hammer mean? q2? Any good parlay ideas out there?

Which site are you using? That payout is better than what I get entering the same wager into 5dimes (~60x). But LSU is down to 24 on 5Dimes FYI Edited September 21, 20196 yr by TornACL
September 21, 20196 yr Bovada. I pushed out the LSU and Baylor spreads alternate a bunch and that juiced it.
September 21, 20196 yr As a LaTech - 7.5 ticket holder, I quite enjoyed the end of that game last night. Meanwhile, Utah's secondary is laughably bad.

September 21, 20196 yr I went 0-2 last night. At this rate I’ll be done betting by mid October unless I go on a run.
September 21, 20196 yr Couldn’t help it, multiple units on WVU -4’. This is the same Kansas that lost to coastal caro and narrowly defeated ind st.

September 22, 20196 yr 1 hour ago, NowThis said: the total payout was about $4k, i plugged in the games into parlay calculator. Maybe one or two game were missing or you were making it all up. Incorrect. It was about 5500 for the bet with Wisc as winner, 8k with a Michigan win. Again, I pushed out the spread alternate on both LSU and Baylor. Also, because I didn’t feel good about uga, I threw another 50 on everything but the uga game and another 100 on just lsu-Baylor combo since I was so damned confident about those two games which ended up working out really awesomely. Fucking Baylor.

September 22, 20196 yr Don’t have an image of ticket but here’s what I sent to someone when kicking around different permutations. This has buying down a point on Ohio state which I did not do and doesn’t have an alternate spread on Baylor. Making both of those changes pushed it up 750 bucks.
