Yep, will always remember both these names, solely because of SB XXX.

Bubby Brister says hold my beer

Bubby Brister?

Mark Malone?

Joe Gilliam?

Terry Hanratty?

Mike Tomscak?

Don't think any of them ever would be considered long time starter though.

So, other than the two games against the Bengals, the Steelers are going to get raped this season.

They really should consider tanking for Tua alongside the Dolphins.

Trying to out-tank the Dolphins this season is like trying to out-suck ou.

Dueling 0-16s... What are the draft tiebreakers?

No one is out tanking Miami this year. Even without Ben, Pitt will win some games with Rudolph. They still at least have some talent left. Miami has little to none. The little they had left they traded away to Houston. Plus, Pitt gets to play the bumfuck teams from Ohio 4 times. They are winning some of those.

Maddox was better at basketball than football at LD Bell.  He hung 50 on our basketball team when he was a junior.

With only one working arm, waitresses might have a chance of getting away.

Lulz. You are one of them? While we are at it, let's create a thread called Football and stick every single football related thing in there. Or better yet, one single thread for the whole forum called Stuff and every single thought go in there.

Generic mega threads are the worst thing about the Shag/Surly.

If you did not think this was worthy of its' own thread you would not have created it. A few let you know that they did not give a shit and therefore believe the thread is clutter. All a matter of opinion on surly.

And then the Steelers go and trade a first rounder to Miami. Are the dolphins the new browns?

80's and 90's were horrendous at QB for Stillers fans.. Brister, O'Donnell, Kent Graham, Mike Tomszak, Kordell, Maddox..Yikes.  I think Mason will do fine, however I expect the defense to continue to allow big plays to happen during crucial parts of the game.

And now that the team knows they won’t be putting up 35 points a week this year they immediately trade a first round pick for Minkah Fitzpatrick to try and shut down a little bit of those gaping holes in the defensive backfield.
