And he’s acted before.

Josh Gad is voicing Fezzik.  Flame away.

I’d rather have rob reiner read fezzik and gad read the narrator/falk.

actually if Patton is going to be there anyway for q&a id rather he read the narrator.

i think he can pull it off.  He's obviously a mega-fan of the movie, and he can do good voice inflection impersonations based on previous roles.  But he's a little too goofy most of the time, usually unintentionally but there it is.  And we need to talk about Peter Falk's role.  I mean, he is...kinda the narrator.  Would be kinda cool if Fred Savage read his character as if he was now reading the legendary tale to his own son.  Damn, what a perfect little film.

Billy Crystal was great, but Mandy is absolutely slaying it.

Does he still look like Saul?

No beard.  He nailed the accent and was "acting" more than most of the others.  It was great.

Damn, should have set a reminder for this.

Billy Crystal was great, but Mandy is absolutely slaying it.

Agreed on Billy and Mandy but I’d put Chris Sarandon alongside Mandy as the two doing the most acting. That was a fun time.

Yeah, Chris was great too.  And Wallace Shawn.  It was super fun.

The read through was great and I'm happy it helped to support a good cause.  I'd like to see more stars using their clout to directly support such an important issue instead of just tweeting (though that's helpful too).

That was a pandemic highlight.   Hearing Mandy say the line was was a bit emotional for me, maybe that is just the state I am in now.   I think Carey acted well too.   The whole thing was just fun and memorable.
