You can see that Texas A&M is perfectly pointed towards a natty in 2020. J.I.M.B.O.

Mond is not a bad QB. He's also not a world beater. Their run game is putrid.

Two losses already, neither surprising. Games left with Alabama, Georgia, and LSU, and they've given no indication they can luck out and win one of those. So that's a minimum five losses, assuming they beat all of the other teams on their schedule and win their bowl game. They're at risk for seven losses, although I actually do think they'll win the ones they're supposed to and overmatch some shitass team in a fourth-tier bowl. 8-5.

They lose to a Mississippi school.

Ya this is a “very good A&M team” guys

wtf--this is a very good to great aggy team.  Don't let your eyes fool you.  They only lost by 8 to a team that should challenge for the SEC championship and a possible natty.  So far aggy has only lost two natty teams with a possible 3 other natty teams on the horizon.  That's 5 possible natty team losses.  There's not a better 5 loss team in college.  They only lose to contenders.

Howdy Ags:

I just wanted to stop by and congratulate you on a hard-fought game.  As a lifelong WAR DAMM EAGLE I feel very fortunate to leave Kyle Field with a "W".  A&M showed a lot of fight, and the future is very bright for you as the premier in-state SEC West program in the Great State of Texas.  I know that Jimbo will just get your guys better and better, and I'm sure you'll be in the playoff, if not next year, then the year after.

Even if my team hadn't prevailed, it still would have been a wonderful experience travelling to College Station.  I swear, I'll bet I heard "Howdy" 25,000 times.  I was a little apprehensive coming to Texas, as my cousin Cleetus once went to a game at Austin, and told me that at least 75,000 of the fans at their stadium were classless. He is a military veteran and a proud American, and was wearing an American Flag pin.  He was spat upon by transsexuals dozens of times, and had numerous beers thrown at his pregnant wife, not to mention the coupons that she was handed for local abortion clinics.

But that's not the reception that we got at your magnificent stadium.  At one point, I had lost my direction, and an old maroon-wearing lady in a wheelchair rolled up to say "howdy" and to ask if I needed help finding my seat.  After helping me find my section, she gave me her address and told me that she would bake me a pecan pie after the game and told me to pick it up on my way home tomorrow.

And heck, I hoped to win the game, but I never expected to win halftime, and we sure didn't.  The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band was all we could have imagined.  What a performance!  I can see how y'all are so proud of them, particularly as the entire band is made up of future Generals and Admirals that will keep our nation safe.

Anyway, that's all for now.  Thanks for an amazing day in beautiful College Station, and I hope that our fans are 1% as welcoming and classy as the Aggies are when you come down to our place.

We build a new stadium..join the SEC...hire a $75M coach...thinking all these things will make us good.

That's like thinking that buying magnum size condoms, gettting some cocaine, and hiring a hooker will make your junk big.

56 yards rushing today for aggy. Their 2 rb's combined for 30 yards on 12 carries and Mond added 26.

One of those RB runs was for 21 on that 3rd and 40.

You “paid $75mill” for a coach not “went out and got” a coach worth $75millio.

There is a big difference

Damn. Ten win streak for Rice.

I can't even get started here talking about dumb aggy shit I saw there. But I did have a colleague there who escaped to Rice. The Aggy secretarial staff (much more self-aware than the students) thought he'd done well for himself.

Of all the jokers on this thread, the only believable post is the "Auburn fan" whom the aggy offered to blow, and then fuck in the ass.  That is pure poetry.

So, a friend of mine(UT ‘16 grad) went to the aggy game today. His little brother is a sophomore there. Now, my friend had been to college station on random weekends just to visit, but never on game day. He also went to UT at a time where the rivalry kind of died off. He had heard about the horror stories. The milkmen. Fake army. A giant game of Lincoln logs gone horribly wrong, but he never experienced it so he never got the true hatred/annoyance us long time fans have.

So he went to the game today pulling against aggy just on principle. Hell, he even wore a UT polo just as a nice “fuck you”. But after a few hours tailgating, then making the walk to the stadium then finding their seats, he was astonished at how kind and helpful everyone was there. At one point during one of the tailgates he attended he told some ag “the tailgating scene in Austin doesn’t even touch this. I’m truly astonished at the hospitality!” By the time he was in the stands, he couldn’t help but root for aggy. They sat in the student section and he couldn’t stop complimenting them on their passion while staying classy.

Hell, he was planning on driving back to Austin and getting home in time to catch kickoff at his house. Instead, he decided to take in the atmosphere of the Dixie Chicken and Northgate, even after a loss, of what he is now convinced is truly the most passionate, classy fan base in all of sports.
