This is a very entertaining interview with Devin Gardner about why Michigan fell behind OSU. He's a charismatic dude. Wouldn't be surprised if he found his way into broadcasting.

It all makes so much sense now

The NCAA said Harbaugh "engaged in unethical conduct, failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance and violated head coach responsibility obligations." More: https://t.co/07PU5ArVou

I mean, I get it. Kids need to have a break from all the nonsense coaches try to speak to them, but a 4 year show-cause seems like something you would give Tosh Lupoi for handing out bags of cash.

As noted plenty over the last few days & discussed on the Pod last week, Michigan is preparing soon to receive the formal notice of allegations from the NCAA’s investigation into the sign-stealing scandal, which is expected to include allegations against current/former coaches.

Absolutely. Same as what Pete Carroll did at USC. Get out before the sanctions come down. Made zero sense for him to leave after the success he's had and coming off a national title. He knew what was coming.

Good thing now, the players aren't handcuffed to the situation like they used to. They can get the hell out, too through the portal.

Hell yeah he knew lol. He also knew he could do it and bail whenever he wanted because every year an NFL team was trying wish cast him into their program. He gave absolutely no fucks whatsoever.

Yep. But he got the Michigan fanbase a national title as well as the players he recruited before he left. That should hold that fanbase over for awhile.

So their punishment, and I use that word lightly, is a 4-year show-cause?

How exactly is that a punishment to Jimmy? He won’t be back for at least that long, if ever?

All hat; no cattle.

Oh, absolutely. Even if the NCAA "vacated"!the wins, they'll still claim it. Which I don't blame them, but Harbaugh is a sleezeball.

Hell I am still filled with joy about ours from 19 years ago.

Yup. 4 year show cause is symbolic. He’s in the NFL for at least 3.

Why not a 100 year show cause?
