September 25, 20196 yr I probably watched that 50 times on cable as a kid. Can't believe we aren't tug boating icebergs yet.
September 26, 20196 yr I always wondered what the will said about him just taking the $30million and making as much coin with it as he could in the 30 days. Maybe he doesn't get the $300million, but walking away with $5million isn't so bad in the 1980s.
September 26, 20196 yr I hold the movie in a highly nostalgic regard...but if we're honest...shouldn't a movie with fucking Richard Pryor and John Candy been 10x more funny than this thing was?
September 26, 20196 yr Loved it as a kid, but it's easily been 20 years since I last saw it. Time for a revisit to see if it holds up.

September 27, 20196 yr Ten million, ten million, ten million dollars! Nooooo!!!!! I’m right back where I started.
September 27, 20196 yr Nowadays you realize just how easy it would be to accomplish this, even with inflation. Pro athletes and celebrities have taught us how to piss away money fast. Throw yourself an Adrian Peterson birthday party 3 times a day. Have (insert any uber famous musician) play each party for $1 million a pop. Rent a million/week yatch for your dog to live on. Rent the most expensive jets you can find and have them fly all over the world picking up your favorite food for each meal..... Could probably blow through $100 million in a week. September 30, 20196 yr perhaps the greatest bit of philatelic humor in movie history, and a damn good money spender too
