Change calculation of voting percentages in polls with multiple choice options

Featured Replies

I created a poll with multiple choice options:  http://www.surlyhorns.com/board/index.php?/topic/1127-gun-control-proposals-poll/

The forum is calculating voting percentages for each choice with the total number of votes cast as the denominator and it's a meaningless number.  If it's possible to adjust the calculation to use the number of members that have voted as the denominator, that would be great.

Note that this change only makes sense for multiple choice polls.  The current formula works fine for single choice polls.

Actually, on second thought, changing to number of people voted is the same number for single choice polls, so if the code is the same for both poll options, it should be fine to change it.

So BiH says we need at least 5 peeps to agree with the request before he'll add it to the queue.  Anyone else like to see some meaningful calculations of voting in polls?
