I will never pick a team that has Robbie Grossman on it to win unless they are playing the Yankees

Plus Profar will fuck something up defensively, and Semien will prob revert back to his real self and air mail a throw.

Looks like no Yankee Killer Ji-Man Choi that is not a good sign for the Rays

He only started 13 games against lefties all season.

Even with my nemesis Profar, I’m Team A’s tonight.

That first inning crowd enthusiasm died quick.

Easier travel to Florida. Go Rays.

Not the cool calm and collected Uncle Charlie with the Astros this first inning.

32 pitches in the 1st

A lot of pitches (30+) for Charlie. Not an ideal way to open.

Both starters throwing a lot of pitches. Gonna have to use the pen. Probably won't make a lot of difference with a day off, but it can't hurt.

So it is possible to watch an Oakland game on TV without hearing the nonstop drums and cowbells. Take note AT&T Sports.

Good bounce back inning for chuck

I believe he's found his range...

Guess they should have gone with Fiers.

Need A's to start making a game of this

Thought about posting this in the OP...

But the A's have lost eight straight winner-take-all postseason games, including five at home. Both streaks are postseason records, as Oakland hosts Tampa Bay tonight at the Coliseum.

They usually don’t have a crowd this size. It’s easy to hear the drummer boys when they only have a couple thousand in attendance during regular season.

I think that blind Japanese lady in the IBM commercial has better aim than these TB fielders.

What’s the main diff between the ESPN and ESPN2 broadcast other than A-Rod and Mendoza?

Wishing I had that stat cast option on mlb.tv. A-rod saying some dumb things tonight

If watching on MLB.tv turn on one of the team’s radio broadcasts... or even the ballpark audio overlay. Especially if you like drums

The next smart thing he says will be the first.

I have a feeling this game is gonna get a lot closer with CFM at 82 pitches through 4.

My options for audio overlay are the ESPN broadcast or the Oakland AM broadcast in English or Spanish. No ballpark on this one. Maybe that is a playoff thing, dunno.

That’s good enough for me to watch ESPN2.

Thanks, I switched over to the A's radio.  Always liked Ken Korach.

Oh I agree wholeheartedly.

Having seen the Rays a good amount this year here, they are really damn good. Kevin Cash has been the best manager in baseball this year. It would not shock me to see them in the ALCS if they hold on tonight.

I'd kinda like to see Jessica Mendoza in porn, but I'm afraid she'd talk and ruin it.

I mean, it would be pretty fucking shocking if they beat the Astros, and this Astros team didn’t make it past the ALDS. But, you know, baseball.

Well she’s a guy so....you should be good.

It really would not be shocking. Tampa has a very unique team that can beat the big payrolls of the sport. Hitting this many homers tonight is nuts though.

Come on Oak, at least give us a sweat.

Oakland is who they have been for the better part of two decades. A regular season team not built for the post-season.
