Shift of the game.
I'm behind so not completely sure which you're talking about, but if it's the one I think, that shift started with Fedun and Sekera on D.

the Perry line spending about 70 seconds cycling in the Avs zone.

First line showed up. Dobby stood stout. Roope finally scored.

Guess we were just running a big rope-a-dope all season to make teams think we couldn't score.

This was a 100% buy-in by everyone on the roster. What a great win. That's how you win playoff games. Everyone wants to suck McDavid's dick, but 29 might be the best player in the world, and Makar looks like Bobby Fucking Orr at times.

That was a dominant 3rd period by the Stars to put the game away. They started playing defense 200’ out.

1-0 series lead for the good guys.

do you guys think the outlook of the series has changed quite a bit? The avalanches best defender and goalie are hurt. Not sure of the severity yet tho.

I don’t know what’s wrong with either, but Johnson couldn’t go hard after his injury and the goalie should be done- you don’t behave like that from a non contact injury and recover in a day.

I'm not going to feel confident about beating them until it's done. But, the early returns look good. They can play with Colorado.

I do. Grubauer being out — knee injury could be day-to-day or season ending — could be huge. I didn’t think we had a chance 24 hours ago.

MacKinnon is incredible. Dude scares me everytime he has the puck.

There should be a decent drop off from their first goalie to the backup. Even if the backup is good.

yeah beau vine said we didn't stand a chance... but you know what.. that happened.

we're taking the cup.

Let's slow down there. It's one game and let's not pretend this team hasn't looked like shit before for long periods of time during the season.

They brought it in game one.

Alcohol fueled optimism. But this morning I'm still optimistic.

Please don’t tell me we can’t start sucking each other’s dicks yet...

Their backup started the last 12 games of the regular season for them and went 8-2-2. So he’s a backup in the sense Dobby is our backup.

Star’s top line holding their own, slowing down Colorado’s top line, and not giving CO a lot of power play time is what will allow us to advance.

I'm not sure you understand. He said we're winning the fucking cup.

I was wondering if that record was more due to their offense than his goaltending, but didn’t feel like searching.

Game 2 is a little more than two hours away! Let's do this!

MacKinnon could’ve been whistled for interference call for going through Pavelski.

Looks like we are playing with one fewer guy out there for most of the period. Just hang in there.

Fuck me they are outskating us so hard...having to play football out there

Ugh. About the only positive is that the deficit is just one goal. The Avs easily could’ve gotten a couple more. Nathan MacKinnon outshoots the Stars by himself, 7-5.
