Liked it. I think the key is wanting to be entertained but not expecting the worlds greatest ending with Michael Bay fireworks.  Liked the call backs to characters that made it a great show.

Season 1 setup a great story, and while Seasons 2-3 were average, Esmail killed it with his final vision.

Everything clicked this season, especially during the heist episode.

Can't wait to watch it again.

Goodbye, friend

I’m happy that the finale was better than some of the other finales this winter. I’m upset that I’m confused about everything but maybe I’m not? Maybe I get it. I guess that’s the point. Well done sam e..

That finale was right in the feels.

Yep. My initial assessment earlier in the season was pretty negative, but it certainly wrapped up nicely.

Finished this weekend. I'm ok with the ending. Satisfactory. I put this show about on par with Sons of Anarchy... shows I've watched fully through that aren't "elite" television, but cool stories/series anyhow. B+.

So the big reveal at the end doesn't really negate anything that happened right? Just that Elliott is only part of Elliott but like Bourbon and Whiskey not every whiskey is bourbon but every bourbon is whiskey. Or whatever the fuck. And obviously the "Leftovers"-style mind trip episodes were just him in a coma.

Damn, the wife and I just started this last week and have already peeled thru season 3.  Will check back in when complete, but thoroughly enjoying thus far.

yeah, the ending wasn't terribly satisfying but they sure as shit sewed up every loose end you could think of.  Nothing left dangling.  Even Irving, my favorite character, appears to have moved on and forgotten.  But nobody ever wondered how the hell he got past TSA to get into the bookseller.  And what's her FBI name, so convinced it was just a coincidence she bumped into him there.  OH, i guess they let him through because he's an author.  Yeah, that's not how TSA works and did Dom ever wonder...why there's never been a single book signing in the history of the 3,000 Hudson News booksellers around the nation?

All in all, great ending.

Just watched this in the last month.  What a wonderful mind fuck. 1st half of season 2 was the worst of it but 3 and 4 were great.

I had to chatgtp the ending to explain it to me like I'm 5. My psychologist wife understood it without any issue.

Creative minds like Esmail are far and few between these days.

Man if only Mr Robot had that as a plot device lol. That show was INCREDIBLE when it was coming out - they even wrote fresh zero-day exploits into the show like the android hack on the FBI.

Some of those episodes in Elliot's mind were wild, that show is an all-timer for me

I wish they rehashed the jail/prison more deeper after the fact. I need more Darryl from The Office.

Totally forgot about this show.  Lost steam with this show in season 2, confused af, after enjoying season 1.

I remember his sister being stupid hot.

If this show really did stick a landing, I may nudge it up the queue.

This show was Nadia Comaneci.

The last season almost transcends television - it is just art. They took risks because they could and it paid off in spades.

If you stopped at season 2, slog though it, the final 3 seasons make it all worth it.

If you haven't seen the show - watch it and slog through season 2.

This is one of my favorite shows, and was watching live from the beginning

Whenever I recommend the show, I make sure the person knows the first chunk of season two functions as a weed out class, but eventually it flips and is worth it

I really loved this show but watched when it first came out. I really need to rewatch it at some point.

I was really into S1, but somewhere in S2 it lost me. Really good writing and acting.

Think most will agree that s2 didn't land... at least early on. Get through that and season 3 and 4 are fantastic and you won't want to miss the next episode.
