The NCAA has vacated all wins by Mary Hardin-Baylor football during the 2016 and 2017, including the 2016 D-III national championship, as punishment for rules violations.

UMHB will appeal the NCAA's decision to vacate the national title. The Crusaders self-reported the violations to the NCAA.

The infractions occurred when head coach Pete Fredenburg loaned his 2006 Subaru to student-athletes. One player was allowed to use the car during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, according to the Associated Press. On another occasion, Fredenburg loaned the car to another student, but it broke down within an hour and was towed.

The loan violated the NCAA's rules on impermissable benefits and head coach responsibility. Fredenburg expressed regret at his actions, and stated that he misunderstood a rule about impermissable benefits.

You have got to be fucking kidding me, but we're sure as shit gonna crown an SEC champ this year.

That seems like a bit of overkill for loaning a kid a car, no?

They will have to surrender a whole two season worth of wins or games which will become (*) in the record books just because a coach loaned his car to some players.

What a load a shit.

Meanwhile has anyone checked the payroll at Big Red Sports and Imports in Norman lately.  Just asking for a friend.

This hits close to home. I worked with a guy who played there in the early 2000's.

they got the wrong Baylor.

ok so lets see how this works

football team pulls a nonstop #6 party on the coeds on campus for YEARS

no big deal nothing happens.

coach loans his car, a fucking subaru no less and all hell breaks loose

uh ok

ok?

OU sucks!

It was a 10-year old beater car.

If hewas out to get a competitive advantage, he would have gotten something better.

The only way this story could get (better?) is if the kid used the car to go see Mom or grandma home sick with cancer. Way to go NCAA. Big bad asses to the little kids but scared to stand up to the big kids. Cucks.

Mary Hardin-Baylor should have known better than to let Texas A&M buy football prospects. If Mary Hardin Baylor hadn't let Louisville pay for basketball players, then Mary Hardin Baylor wouldn't be having this problem with the NCAA.

What is up with Mary Hardin Baylor letting all this institutional control throughout the entire SEC in football and most of the ACC in basketball run amok?

For shame, Mary Hardin Baylor!

UMHBs first mistake was to self report. The NCAA actually comes down harder on programs that self report violations

Mary Hardin Baylor did NOTHING I repeat NOTHING to prevent infractions in the SWC in the 1980s and 90s. I blame them for 20+ years of suck at SMU.

Yep this is about the biggest bunch of shit I’ve seen. A 10 year old beater?

Driving a 2006 Subaru should've been punishment enough.

That's the way to assert your authori-tie & shown everyone how serious you are about the rules, NCAA. Way to go...

Fuck those corrupt ncaa pussies. Fuck Every goddamned one of the dirtbags who work for that pissant organization.

Ninety per cent are still on the road.

Well, he WAS an assistant under Grant Teaff for 10 years so maybe he had it coming.

Softball team

Good thing Cam Newton didn’t drive a 2006 Subaru, or he would have gotten punked along w/ Auburn.

Crablegs Japennis Winston too.

That’s  a toxic model year vehicle.

Nice. Very nice.

Well good thing the coach never let one of his players borrow some paperclips or MHB might have gotten the death penalty.

Saban - It's my car dealership and I'll "give" away as many cars as I like, suck it NCAA.

I don't see any 2006 Subarus there. It's fine.

Giving away 2006 Subaru? Are they trying to recruit 43 year old lesbians?

No. Just letting them drive it around a little bit.

I am sorry your wife's family is associated with this corrupt and ethically bankrupt school.

Bet the equipment manager had to wash that Subaru too.

They (not my wife) are all Baptists, they knew what they were getting into...

Ha, I'll have to bring that up over the dinner table at the next family get-together...
