we are looking to replace all faux blinds in our home with plantation shutters.

any of y’all degenerates have recommendations in the greater austin area? anybody ever go the online route with diy installation?

For proper plantation shutters, we always bring in a skilled craftsman from England, and have him oversee the servants.

Wrong.  You first need a plantation.

We used Southern Shutters in Georgetown.
Locally owned. Went to high school with the owner.
Great esay service.
Didnt wanna jack with diy

After watching plantation shutters being installed, I was happy I paid for the install.  Some delicate parts of it that I would have surely screwed up.

I used Rockwood out of Houston because I am friends with the owner (female with strong UT ties). They sell and install in Austin. I think they sell through Home Depot. They are high quality and reasonably priced. 1-844-900-6113
