October 12, 20196 yr If defense can't force a turnover or punt, then it's game over.Oh, if the other team doesn’t score points we lose? Thanks for the insight.
October 12, 20196 yr Eagles has no hands. Epps has no drive. Jake has no playing time. Johnson has no injury avoidance skills. Duverney has no help.

October 12, 20196 yr their dbs grabbing every single play knowing the refs arnt gonna call it back to back
October 12, 20196 yr Why are we trying to run slow as Sam there?Notebook says we need a FG too so don't take any chances.
October 12, 20196 yr Playcalling is fucking aids. Short side 2 times in a row in the red zone. Un-fucking-believable.

October 12, 20196 yr OU sucks ass. We have half our team injured, are playing like absolute shit and it’s still a one score game. Take away Hurts first read and he’s awful. Our offensive line and special teams have fucked this game for us. Oh and our coaches too. Edited October 12, 20196 yr by Ghost of Shag

October 12, 20196 yr Sam is really off today. Wouldn't be shocked to learn he got his ribs hurt again. He's running tentatively and his passes aren't as accurate as usual. With out WR size advantage that throw to Eagles should have been up high.
October 12, 20196 yr It would be a novel concept to get Duvernay and Smith on the field at the same time

October 12, 20196 yr I love how every other team that makes a new coach hire to fix something looks like Billechek against us.

October 12, 20196 yr Someone said it earlier, but OU just plays the odds. They play aggressively and know they'll not get called for it more often than not. This goes for both OL holding as well as the D PI and holding. Also note the earlier play where Kertstetter was called for illegal formation. The OU defender, not sure which one, committed an obvious personal foul hitting and pushing Shack after the whistle and it was ignored. The ref crew was far too busy to notice such a thing. October 12, 20196 yr Wonder if we can hire two HC'S? Tom for La Tech, and a real one against good teams? Edited October 12, 20196 yr by Spider2YBanana
October 12, 20196 yr Because our defense is not capable of stopping an opposing offense between the 20’s this game may be over.

Half of OU’s plays are to wide open players. That has more to do with the two defenses than the two offenses. If they swapped defensive strategies we'd probably see reversed offensive results.

October 12, 20196 yr 1 minute ago, ClubWhatever said: Their QB has had wayyy bettter protection than ours. But yeah we do not scheme as well to get guys open. That’s really the issue. OU works entire plays with the intent of getting one guy free down the field. Texas runs mostly iso routes + sloppy lateral screens that might work against inferior competition. It doesn’t help we can’t establish the run today.
