Went to the match today. Attending a game is so much better in person. Sight lines at Emirates are fantastic. Few interesting odd tidbits, to me anyway, were: the clock in the stadium counts down to z

  • It’s taken awhile to process this today. I’ve been known to liken Wenger to Mack Brown, but Wenger has won way more than Mack ever did. Both of them should have bowed out years earlier, but Arsène w

We suck on the road. Glad we’re squandering the easiest path to top 4.

Thankful I can’t watch this. Jesus.

luckily i saw this coming and advised all of my friends to bet on Wolves +180, which I did as well. My one buddy who had been in a rut put $214 on it to win $380, so we got that going for us which is nice.

bottom line is we have been rudderless without Ramsey and our defense on set pieces and counters has been nothing short of shambolic. such a very Arsenal way to end the season.

Silver linings.

But don't worry.  Manu is currently shitting the bed and I'm sure Chelsea will too.  Somehow our second biggest offensive threat is an 18 year old who didn't start at the beginning of the season and now he's out for nine months.  One of Manu or Leicester will beat us.

West Ham beats Tottenham, thought the battle really isn't with them, it's ManU and Chelsea.  But another free gift to Arsenal.  Will they take it?

Every time someone posts about how one of the other three teams loses, Arsenal loses as well.  So no, they won't take it.

Glad I slept through that. Was that a straight red for M-N or two yellows?

I think I'm the only one doing that, so "you're welcome."

Two yellows.

Arsenal seem to do better when this thread gets no traffic.  I'm going to stay away until the season is over.

I know.  Does it bother anyone else to see that Chelsea and ManU drew 1-1, so Arsenal is still within striking distance of the 4th place spot?

Spurs and Chelsea split, Arsenal and Man U pick up 6 points each, Top 4 finishes MC/LIV/TOT/ARS

Or 3-6 all lose out and nothing changes.

Rambo is done as a Gunner. Injury.

We got that going for us which is nice.

The disturbing thing is that even if we make CL our transfer budget goes only from 40mm to 60mm.

The knuckleheads that run arsenal’s finances are really something.

HUGE. Great assist from Kola, great heart from the team to keep pushing forward, and a fucking cool finish, with aplomb, from Auba. Great result.

My phone buzzed and I saw that Valencia scored after 16 minutes and thought, "Dammit, not again. What the hell is it with this team."

Good lord.  1-1 against a team lucky to escape relegation.

That's it, though, no better than 5th.

Even if we win next weekend and Tottenham loses they are +8 in goal differential.

we got four points out of our last possible 18. not gonna cut it.

Especially against the teams on the schedule these last few weeks.  It baffles me in comparison how well they’ve played in Europa.

Already down 1-0 to Valencia.

Very soon I might start collecting for an “Emery out” banner.

Orly?

2-0 over Burnley.  But too little too late.  What could have been.

Oh, wait.  It's 2-1 now, 66th minute.

At least Citteh is going to take the title and not Liverpool.  I would have been seriously pissed if the scousers had a chance at pulling off an EPL/CL double.

Well, at least Obamayang gets a Golden Boot.  Let's finish the job on the 29th.
