Infuriating game, but seriously, it was fun to be pissed off at sports again.  Been a long time.

Porzingis with a tidy 11 in the early going.   Dude is dialed in now.   Looks fully fluid and healthy.

is the fox sports stream sucking/not working for anybody else? I’ve been able to watch the 2nd quarter and that’s it.

Yes same

At a glance, with that longer word on his name plate, Kleber looks like he's wearing a Stackhouse jersey now

This shit is just silly - How do we just go ice cold in the second half after shooting the lights out, AGAIN, in the first half to the tune of 73+ ?!?!

I just don’t get it, but we need to mix it up, as these shooting numbers are terribad.

Absolute shit show of a third quarter

Left my M-I-L’s house at halftime.  Just sat down and flip the game on and we’re down 8.  W. T. F.?!

Tim Hardaway is 1-10

And the stream cut out again for me with 2 minutes to go. I’m done with this.

Luka needs to take the fuck over... and if I see another pass to TH2 I’m gonna throw my phone.

If that’s a foul I simply do not understand basketball any longer... that was the epitome of eurotrash

lose to the suns again....this team is going nowhere in the playoffs.  what is THJ's value?

TH2 lost this game, but Luka has GOT to be more aggressive in the final seconds.

Create contact, put it up... you want superstar calls you have to act like one, and kicking it out in the closing seconds of a one possession game ain’t gonna get it done.

Who cares - Dump him.

I meant value to the team...he's wes matthews redux.

That was a phantom foul call on Rubio. He was barely touched

The ability for the refs to change the foul to another player after being challenged on their initial shitty call is highly suspect. even more so when there was hardly any contact to speak of in the first place...

Same ol same ol. Entertaining to watch but no killer drive to close out any of these games.

ESPN sent me an alert that we lost before we inbounded the ball on the last play.  I guess there’s a bit of a delay on the broadcast.  Thanks ESPN.

Last drive why didn't Luka go with the left and after a time out why is that what we call?

No delay. They’ve seen this team enough to know

No idea.  I think with Booker done I'm playing for overtime there.

2 bad losses.  Seems like we are going to be pretty locked into the 7 spot at this point.

And not a great start. Sac with 9 3s in the 1st quarter. Team needs a spark to get them out of this funk.

4-35 in three pointers over the last four quarters for the Mavs.

That sounds bad.  Is that bad?

Our bench has been dog shit in the last two games.

I still LOVE people acting like this team was fine without Powell and Brunson.  They're not.  The depth they had early in the year and the lethal bench has been broken with a couple of big injuries.

What?

Yeah I corrected it, I was looking at a completely different thing.

Luka with a decent 35-20-12. Ez game, never a doubt.

Dallas - the only team without a 3-game losing streak this year.

according to Dallas radio announcers

Finally a damn win.  Feels good man.  Luka needs more help if we want to give the Clips (presumably) a series.

I haven't been loving the starting lineup of DFS at 4 and KP at 5. I would prefer it to be Luka, THJ/Curry (based on matchips or hot hand), DFS, KP, Maxi.

The next part is from an article that echoes what @Drew mentioned earlier.

The rub for the Mavericks is that while these other title contenders might have more talent one through five, the Mavericks boast broader talent 1 through 10 (with that top two still being pretty damn spicy). When Dallas is at full strength, there’s no questioning the depth they have in terms of rolling out players that can be productive for them.

Here’s where I insert a giant “BUT” in neon blinking letters: in the playoffs and in big, must-win games, having 10 guys isn’t really that big of an advantage. Rotations shrink and minutes increase for your core. You aren’t playing nine to 10 players a game during a playoff series. Also, how much does having 10 quality guys matter when you can only play five of them in the last five minutes of a close game? The Mavericks depth is great for keeping up regular season success — it keeps guys fresh and it helps paper over larger weaknesses just by sheer attrition. Eventually though, talent wins. We might get an unfortunate example of this when the Mavericks face the Clippers in the playoffs.

Not so fast! Only a game up on Denver. And once we punk them on Thurs, they could be tied for the 2-seed. So what if I'm wishcasting

Hate watching the clippers. They initiate all the contact on both ends, get the calls on offense and get lauded for great defense. They’re the new bad boys.
