Anyone watch the pilot yesterday?   Recorded it and watched, a bit jumpy, but seems like it’s building a solid multi-timeline/multi-locale plot.   I’m a junky for Bourne stuff, so I’m definitely giving it a shot.

First I've heard of it.

Didn't know this was a thing until a commercial during Mr. Robot the other night. Pilot wasn't bad. I'll keep watching.

I’ll probably have to re-watch it since my wife kept asking me questions the entire time.  But there’s a thread for that

I too love the book and movies.  I''l check it out.  I hope that they get away a bit from the super shaky-cam of the movies and also the implausibly all knowing bad guys.  You know, they always find you, predict your every movement, track you with cameras a 1/4 mile away, hack into computers within seconds and rearrange traffic flow to allow the bad guys to get there faster or cut off your escape, etc.

Finally got around to watching the premier. Really, really good. That was a high bar to set for the rest of the series.

Episode 2 pretty solid as well.  Hopefully it keeps rolling

Does it feel like a USA network show, or is it more grown up?

It ain't Burn Notice.

I really like the premise but worry that the average knuckle dragging mouth breather wont be able to keep up with the multiple story lines.  E1 was excellent and E2 brought the story forward nicely but Elmo and Edith from Emporia probably arent watching this.

That’s my fear as well.  Really a neat premise on how the program started and how they’re trying to carry it.   But it’s definitely not an easy follow for the frozen dinner at every meal crowd.

Were they not allowed to actually use the name Jason Bourne? Twice someone said “I was there in New York when that agent went rogue and blah blah blah.” Why wouldn’t they say his name?

Kind of a slow episode, but lots of backstory. It's disconcerting seeing the kid from Almost Famous going full Bourne.
