Every hole has two greens. One for warm weather grass, one for cool. They’ll just play one per hole this week, except for #4. You must take relief if your ball or stance is on the wrong green, and they’re very close to each other.

Tiger w a 64 even though he started with bogeys on each of the first three. 9 birds over the remaining 15 will do that

Figured Tiger was looking at a 76 yesterday. Strong to quite strong finish to the round.

Haven’t watched any replays, but I dont remember any of the birdie putts being short and there was a fair amount of break on most. It was a pretty impressive performance

Extended highlights (in Japanese). Missed a few that could have taken him even lower.

Another 64 for Tiger. Hit a nice 260 yard 5-wood into the par 5 18th green for a good look at 63.

Tiger just dropped a 40’ bomb on #4. Three solid rounds in a row?

Yep. Not that TM triangle thing

And his iron play is fantastic. He’s probably still the best iron player in the world after however many surgeries

Woodlands post round interview was pretty funny. Said Tiger would be stupid to not pick himself

Surprised tying Snead wasn't bigger news. Checked the board earlier while it was suspended and forgot to check back until just now.

He will assuredly break that record. Whether he has 4 more majors in him is a different story.

He might be. It's an interesting debate.

For posterity, here is the top 15 in strokes gained approaching the green from last year. Tiger didn't play enough to qualify:

I think the major record is out of reach. Although he’ll probably continue to contend at Augusta for a while. 86-88 or so total wins is probably realistic.

President's Cup, Ryder Cup, and Dell Match Play should not be in Tiger's rotation.  he needs to play 10-12 tournaments a year, which includes all the majors.  space them out to maintain maximum health and give himself a chance to win any of them.

in 2018, he played 18 tournaments, plus the Ryder Cup.  that was too many.  in 2019, he played 12 tournaments.  he needs to do that and skip anything too taxing.

he can still win 3 more majors.

I remember when Tiger owned the WGC events, now he doesn't even play them. And he is still the talk of the tour & the player to beat when healthy.

Before his Tour Championship won last year, I thought he had lost his edge; and I even kind of dismissed that as a very limited field event. But he's proven that he can still deliver.

@Jive Turkey is right, play 10-12 times a year, win 2+ including a major

The last of the 2019 Tour "off season" events is this week, but the big story is Brendon Todd going for his 3rd tour win in a row.
Todd who finished 183 in last years FedEx Cup, did well enough on the Korn Ferry tour to earn his card for 2019/20, and he wins back-to-back in Bermuda and Mexico. Albeit one is an opposite field event from the WGC.
He has gone from being ranked 522 after the Houston Open to now being 83, on the cusp of top 50 which would get him into all the majors and WGC events.

Tiger's Hero World Challenge is on TV.

It's the debut of the new, jacked up Bryson Dechambeau.  Put on 25 pounds of muscle.  His neck got really thick.

If JT wins he’ll have more than Jordan.

Reid is in the driver’s seat. Crap. I don’t want him to win either.
