Our 10-16 inches over thanksgiving turned into rain and maybe 3 inches.

Forecast calling for 4-5 inches tonight but again, it's currently raining. Makes for fun morning driving.

Damn. I’d be pissed if I got that much at once.

Worst part was coming home from work to see about a 3 ft wall of snow blocking our driveway from the street plows.  Had to get out and shovel some to get the car into the garage.

forecasted high of 84 today.  not hating it.  this year i've suddenly grown averse to anything less than freezing.

Ate dinner out on the patio at North last night. It was perfect.

we were there too saturday early evening.  no wait.

It's a cool 22 degrees in Angeles City in the early morning. I get to turn off the aircon for a change and some girls are wearing jackets. The high will be 29. It will be like this for the next 2 months or so.

5 Inches of slushy snow yesterday. Seems winter is trying to show up but temps aren't quite agreeing yet. Took quite a while to snow blow slushy heavy ass snow.

Solid 2.8 last night. Better than the 6-10 they were projecting. Now onto our first sub zero -20 degree nights these next few days

supposed to be high in the 40s tomorrow.  Hope everyone stays safe.

Sunny and 70's this weekend tho!

Rain does actually look a bit pissy.  From about 2am-2pm.  COuld really use phdHOrn's projection on what Sunday night is gonna look like.  Something headed back our way again on Monday, but sunday is a question mark.  Where art thou?  Why hath thee forsaken us?   Also there will be fans

If the short-medium range forecasts are to be believed, Christmas is looking to be about 15 degrees above normal for a crisp and chilly 75-80 degrees here in Central Texas.

Was really hoping not have to have to use the AC again this Christmas.

Time to bring back the “Blast furnace from hell” thread

And of course, there were kids showing up in shorts this morning.   Granted, it’s only 35, but the windchill was not pleasant.

Looks like snow here. Right now 4 inches forcasted for Tuesday the 24th, with another 3 inches on Friday.

Still quite a bit of snow on ground from a couple of weeks ago, mid to upper 40s today but a little breezy.

It's 71° outside right now, and I've had all my windows open since Wednesday. Cedar may suck, but the fresh air ain't nothing to sneeze at.

*well, yes, it is*

Yeah Fargo is having a rough winter. Might as well start filling sandbags.

Go on...

There is no winter. Bright and sunny day after day. Cold, but nothing a coat doesn’t solve. Been like 2 months since any accumulation.

Yeah, this is where we're at.  We're getting maybe 1" today, but it's going to be back in the 40's on New Year's and will melt that right off.  I'll be mountain biking again this weekend.  In January.  10 miles from Minnesota.

Actually had a dude try the “bet I know where you got your shoes” bit this trip. Hadn’t heard it actually used in 20 yrs.

If it's anything like last year we will.  We had no snow on January 15th.  By the end of the month we had over a foot, it was -35, and we kept getting storms well into April.

We haven't lost winter, the window just shifted by a month or two.

It’s like, almost freezing this morning.

At the risk of killing us all, this has to be one of the mildest winters in Austin I can ever remember. If it doesn’t get real in February the skeeters are going to suck us all dry this summer.

I'm in Boston and it's 64, windy, and humid.

Pushing mid 60s and windy in Albany,NY yesterday and today, some rain mixed in.

I bet you can feel the ticks crawling right over you.

There is some hope on the horizon for those of you who love cold weather, or at least hose of who who don't love 75 and muggy in January.

I like winter. Seasons should feel seasonal.

Winter finally showed up.  It always does.  6" of snow so far this week with another 4-8" on Friday.  At least we aren't seeing any subzero highs in the 10 day.

2 1/2 weeks into 2020, we may already be having one of our most unpleasant weeks of weather for the entire year. Since Monday morning, both lows and highs have been 15+ above average, it's humid as hell, and there's an omnipresent mist which only ceases to occasionally break out into rain.

We've been hanging in the single digits at night with it getting into the high 20s with an occasional day into the high 30s. But little to no precipitation since the new year. Been a bit disappointing. Some little 1-2 inch nights, but nothing substantial.

Mowed the yard twice since last week.

High of low 40s a week from today in Austin.

I saw that yesterday too.  Unfortunately 24 hrs later and now all the forecasts are calling for highs in the mid-50s.

This “winter” blows.
