Serious question -- Avg yards per play on bubble screens?

Featured Replies

Someone keeps track of this somewhere... What is our average yards per play on bubble screens?

And as a follow-up, what is OUs avg on bubble screens against us?

Has to be north of 9 yards

I doubt it’s that high. We suck at them.

1.8 yards.  It’s fucking  terrible.  It’s a terrible 1.8 yard handoff.

It helps to have WRs that aren't terrified of contact.

Fucking over the fucking bubble screen that we send with 1 too few blockers that gains absofuckinglutely nothing. Can’t we run just a regular fucking screen?

Why the HELL do we keep calling the bubble screen? Never ever works!

You can’t make me believe they are ever even successful in practice with the personnel we normally run them with. No hate to Niblett but he should never be the primary blocker on a WR screen.

We have had several go for 30+ - including one for 75, so probably a lot higher than you think.

Helps to scheme it with blockers vs. 170-lb athlete with dick in hand.
