I am going to put a tv on the deck.  It is covered and will be as sheltered as it is possible for an outdoor tv to be from moisture.  My requirements are that it needs to have built-in roku and be 50"-55" wide.  I would like to get a tight fitting cover and a mount that lets me tilt it around to deal with any glare problems.

Here are the TV options:

Which one would you go with?  Anyone have a rec for the mount and cover?

VideoSecu Adjustable Ceiling... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001KPILLE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

This is what I have, swivels 360 so it can face patio or pool. Mounted to joists in my patio .

Have a 50 inch LG that was 300 bucks . My last patio tv lasted 6 years till a crazy storm that blew rain sideways got it wet . As long as they don’t get wet they are fine, temps don’t seem to mess things up

I like that mount, but I think a wall mount will work better in my location.

TCL 4 series 50 inch for 279 at Best Buy. 55 inch is 299. I bought this for our kids’ playroom and have been really happy with it.

If you're already putting a tv on your patio, you should splurge on the tcl 6 series.  Excellent set.  That said, don't know about out of doors performance and what have you.

Make sure you get a soundbar with a wireless bass speaker as well.

Picked up a 55" at Sams just before Labor Day as a secondary set for the den for Saturday game watching; it was $259 (or $279?) on sale.

For the intended purpose here it's perfect.

Going with a TCL, but got the 5 series.  Should be here on Monday.

Make sure you get a good weatherproof cover for it.

I found a tight fitting one on amazon that will close nicely around the mount.

I've had 2 TV's on my last 2 covered back patios.  Never covered, didn't buy any special case or outdoor TV, just mounted a regular TV (both samsung iirc) on the wall.  Never had an issue with either one.

What about electricity? I was thinking about wiring a plug from the attic to the eve but it won’t be gfci. Patio is totally covered and tv will be four feet away from roofline.

I’d just install an outdoor outlet. Unplug the TV when not in use so the outlet stays closed

Mine isn’t gfci either, but I don’t think it’s too big of a deal. The plug will be high enough on the wall and most likely both outlets will be in use all of the time.
