July 4Jul 4 I always loved when David Benioff was winning all of those Emmys for GoT, he would always say “thank you to my wife, Amanda Peet” to remind everyone who was married to and that he’s just running up the score.

July 4Jul 4 Anyone that doesn’t thing Amanda Peet is hot needs to watch The Whole Nine Yards immediately.

July 4Jul 4 Saving Silverman did it for meRepeatedly. She definitely made my fun-level go up to a 93. These days it’s around an 8.
July 4Jul 4 Because I love it when I'm predict the odd predilections of Surly on occasion and I should...
July 4Jul 4 I couldn’t, in good conscience, bang a chick with that level of dgas signature. And for that reason, I’m out. but I’ll add brockmire to the list of stuff she was/is sexy and fun in. Edited July 4Jul 4 by Pato del Muerto

Yeah, I get that she got sent down to arson investigation because she broke it off with her lover/boss. Yawn (RIP Rocko).
July 10Jul 10 gonna have to re-watch the last couple Foundation eps from last season. Zero memory about whats going on.
July 11Jul 11 Ep 8 of Stick is probably my favorite. Olyphant is a great heel. It is annoying how short the episodes are, I really wish I had held off and just binged the whole thing in a couple of sittings.

God damn that man is good looking and yes he's a fantastic heel. Of course, can't have an episode without Santi going full Santi but it propelled the plot forward so.. whatever. Maybe the season finally will be Santi's balls finally dropping.

It started off being interesting but I agree with Smollett's story being pretty meh and frankly the twist was extremely telegraphed. I guess I'll watch it cause Milk Jug really interests me and is very well acted, but the rest of the story is pretty damn lame.

To be fair, I was about to post what a fucking bitch he was but it was planned for him to act like that as part of the hustle Also Jesus fucking Christ, Olyphant is hot. Dat ass for 57. Marble
July 22Jul 22 Just binged first 5 episodes of Stick. Pretty much agree with all that’s been said here, it’s not some genius/amazing show. But I’m hooked and def a feel good show with just enough serious moments to keep you in your heels. End of episode one put a damn tear in my eye, quick turn of events.
July 23Jul 23 Landed the season finale with Stick. Def a golf Ted Lasso and they hit their stride the back half of the season

July 23Jul 23 Stick renewed for season 2 You have to be exceptionally, out of this world bad of a show to not get a season 2 at Apple

Santi is Jamie Tartt and I imagine they have the same arc planned for him. In the summer when there's not shit on, it's an even better show. Edited July 23Jul 23 by kevwun

July 23Jul 23 Do you mean to tell me line drive shots don't regularly sit on the green or fairway after one bounce?
July 23Jul 23 Or 100% of attendees hanging on what happens on a meaningless 18th hole when Santi was down 8 shots. They all celebrated like he had just won The Masters.

July 23Jul 23 Santi dad sucks. It should have been explained to Santi in very clear terms that you do not change your caddy in the middle of a round just for the hell of it. You’re not six years old. Hang out with daddy later. But it would be a much different show if everyone treated that shithead as he should be treated.

I particularly like that they had to very blatantly CGI a golf ball slowly rolling towards the hole on a chip shot. I mean, no possible way to recreate that with practical effects.
July 23Jul 23 It’s one of my favs and prob flew under most people’s radar but final/season 4 of Acapulco begins today! If y’all like Ted Lasso you should give this show a watch. Plus plenty of pretty people, hot chicks in this show.

I wondered if there were some edits in post, where originally he needed to hit a certain number because reasons. Like to earn a tour card or something. Otherwise I’m not sure why everyone was going batshit crazy when he wasn’t even in contention.
July 25Jul 25 Held off watching ep 9 and watched 9/10 last night. That’s the way to go, watching a single 25 min episode sucks. Agree with almost all the comments above, enjoyable show. Glad there is gonna be a season 2. Wonder if it might end up with a Pryce comeback attempt. Edited July 25Jul 25 by Ted Lange

August 7Aug 7 The Viet Nam war documentary is very well done. The way they edit footage together to tell a story is just miraculous. Especially when the embassy is taken over.

(I mean I’ll eventually keep watching…) We're 4 episodes in. It definitely has it's funny moments. Insane number of cameos. And the Warner Bros Studios shots of "Continental Pictures" start about 150 ft from my office. But trying to buy Seth Rogan as a studio head when he still works in that goofball Butthead laugh can derail it for me sometimes.
August 14Aug 14 The Studio almost lost me when Rogan, who knows what’s what in the business, kept messing up the oner like a buffoon. Cut that episode in half at least and make the bumbling new head guy bit a part of another ep. glad I stuck with it though. Gets pretty fun in the back half.

I guess he is mostly fatter in The Third Man.

August 15Aug 15 (Edit: I guess I'm the only person not getting the chemistry between Rogan and Byne.) Only a few episodes in on Platonic but have to say, this would have worked better if they never showed any scenes related to the platonic relationship. Just Seth Rogan telling his friends about the relationship. No issues with Rose Byne but her character is just poorly developed. Maybe it will get better. They latched on to a real issue (the mom who falls off the partner track) but just not realistic as presented. The show just comes to a halt when it's just the two main characters. A truly unique, odd, and entertaining flick. Edited August 17Aug 17 by The Original Greaser Bob
