December 31, 20195 yr Roche is a stud. Saw him in their bowl game and he was dominant at points. Going to wreck shop for some team.Â

Wake had a couple of crucial injuries that changed their offense a lot, but he's good enough to take a ready made team like Florida or LSU to contender status.Â

January 1, 20205 yr Texas desperately needs a great pass rusher. Guy would absolutely be a day 1 starter in a pass happy conference. Â

January 4, 20205 yr Of the grad transfers I’ve seen so far, it would’ve been really nice to land Theo Howard ( WR UCLA > OU) and Sills (All Big 12 OT WVU>OSU). Kinda sucks that we didn’t even appear to be interested in either. I know Herman’s mentioned being active in the GT market, so hopefully we hear of some potential names to Texas soon. Have to think that LB and WR are primary targets with TE and OL also being possibilities. Edited January 4, 20205 yr by Burt Macklin

January 6, 20205 yr Herb Hand has recently followed Maryland RG Terrance Davis on Twitter. He is already in the transfer portal. He has a lot of experience. Center is probably the most pressing spot on the OL. Guessing Ghirmai and Kerstetter battle for that spot this fall. LT with Cosmi and one of the guard spots for Angilau seem to be the only starters locked in. A grad transfer guard or center would let Kerstetter lock the other spot down
January 6, 20205 yr In some PC earlier this year Herman randomly said Angilau would be the center next year. Never heard anything else about that after.

January 7, 20205 yr Another grad transfer possibility is Stephen Spanellis. He was mostly a reserve lineman at the University of Michigan. As with the others Herb Hand has recently followed him on Twitter. https://mgoblue.com/sports/football/roster/stephen-spanellis/19078

January 7, 20205 yr Definitely seems like we’ll be taking a GT OL, which is good to see. There are some really good options on the market so far.Â
