Still trying to tackle with our shoulders.

I mean, that's proper tackling technique, right? It's how all coaches teach players to tackle.

That was a pathetic effort on a tackle by BJ. He did use the shoulder technique Orlando was quoted as saying they teach as proper tackling.

Same alignment issue. Overloaded left side and our response is to have defensive backs crash into offensive linemen. It’s not even football logic it’s basis physics we cannot even comprehend.

No wonder so many DBs injured for Horns this year....

SHIT!!!

Team looks like they’ve quit.

Yeah they’ve completely given up after the blowU game. Riley must have sucked their souls out with a bag of dicks. This team went from scoring at will anywhere to moral victories of crossing the 50  one of you mother fuckers desecrate an Indian burial ground or what

More 10 yard cushions.  Why the fuck are we paying Orlando 1.8 mil a year again?  The guys should be shown the door the minute this season ends.  He can go be DC at Uconn again.

Missed tackle aside, I don't blame the players for that one, the defensive alignment was horrible.  Letting 2 o-linemen get a full head of steam running at the DBs is not a recipe to stop the run.

They lined up with two TE on the left, and we aligned as if the right side was the strong side of the formation.  Then they pulled two more linemen to lead, and it was a certainty that they would pop a big gain.

Orlando designs this defense to fail.

But Sterns and Jamison were there to turn it back in!!!!  Against 800 lbs of moving meat.

People blaming the defensive backs for not tackling a 225 pound running back at full speed downfield are missing the point. We are seeing two ends and a packed front and our response is a light box and hoping our 6 defensive backs can come in and close running lanes while pulling offensive linemen and tight ends block them downfield.

it’s also why we have so many injured defensive backs. We are asking safeties to do what defensive linemen should be doing at the line of scrimmage.

Not sure that’s all of it. He moves stiffly

They were put in a terrible position by the scheme.  We had 180 lb dbs taking on 290 lb linemen.

If you're gonna be so obvious w/ your trolling, can you at least not be so ridiculously fucking shitty at it?

Im not trolling nor have I ever trolled in this board. I've been very open about being an OU fan.

I have re-watched the OU-Baylor game twice. Jalen Hurts made Baylor look really good in the first half. Baylor ain't shit.

Definitely not out coached in this game either because Tom only blames others.   Wonder who plans, develops and implements the game plan weekly for an underperforming team?

#390

Ingram reminds me of Johnathan Gray...amazing HS running back who under performed at Texas.  Of course with this offense, I think JK Dobbins would look pedestrian.
