fuck no.  I don't know how any of you watch so much football when our team has sucked so much shit for the past decade.  They've completely ruined the sport for me.  fuck everything.

I pretty much have to have a rooting interest to have more than a passing interest in watching any sport.

When we're winning, I can generate rooting interests in other games.  When we're irrelevant, I can't and DGAF.

I will probably watch the playoff games and root against the OU and Alabamas of the world.  Guess it won't be long before I hate Clempson too.

Pretty much where I am. Just can’t give a fuck to watch other teams have success when we aren’t relevant. All it does is piss me off about our shitty program. Seasons like this have me watching very little college football.

Nope... I’m burnt out on watching teams with equal or less talent figure shit out that we can’t

I am more of a baseball fan really. If my teams are garbage, well it is garbage football I am watching. I very rarely will sit down and watch a few other games if we suck. If we are great and there are some games of interest that might impact us I might watch them, but that hasn't happened much at all recently.

The only game a year I typically watch all the way through that does not involve the Redskins or Longhorns is the Super Bowl.

Nope nope nope. When my teams suck, I fill my time with other things. When winning, all the other games in that sport seem more intriguing, interconnected and enjoyable.

And obligatory delete thread, ban user!

WE BEAT GEORGIA!!!! SECSECSECSEC!!!!

BEST!GAME!EVAR!

Lulz.  We've sucked for 10 years now. Do we have any other choice but to try and enjoy really good football played by other teams.

Jesus.

ever since i started watching soccer i havent been able to watch a full football/basketball/baseball game.........its the only sport u dont have to be invested in to enjoy...........the no ad breaks & continuous play make going back to try & watch american football boring.......cant wait for austin fc

Do what I did: get a masters degree or two.

As of today my teams are a collective 14-18.  Texas is the best of the three. Let that sink in.

Did I mention I'm an Arsenal fan?

Why is @Ignatius posting the same inane shit on every thread?

No, I don't enjoy football when UT sucks. Today was an unmitigated disaster. What a shit-show.

I went for a bike ride with the kids during the game in the first quarter. I’ll watch, but I am not missing a nerf battle to watch 4 hours of bullshit officiating and coaching that is subpar to Friday night tykes.

Yup

Big12 is unwatchable dogshit, especially bad when Texas is bad.

I've been loving watching Florida this year even though it's frustrating with the QB and injury situation.

love it.

just think..in 3 months there wont be football and we play the 36 week offseason game again.

its a game played by teenagers probably >20 years younger than the majority of us.

My wife loves it when we lose because I take out my anger on her vagina. #Winning

Shit this pisses me off too. Tell her I’m next.

No it fucking sucks.....i remember when we had vince and colt plus a multitude of badasses. I want those days back

You should call CDC and he will tell you how to feel.

I enjoy CFB but it would be a lot more enjoyable if the team I cared for was relevant. We have been irrelevant for a decade. Hopefully the 2020's are better but we'll see...I'm starting to fear that belmont doesn't care about wins/losses in football anymore

Yeah, about as much as I enjoy pounding my testicles with a sledgehammer.  Thanks for asking.

I enjoy watching football when it’s well executed and schemed. It’s not fun to watch when I know how the other team is going to exploit us based purely on pre-snap alignment.

Nope. At least we have basketba....oh wait. Well, at least it'll be baseba....oh wait.

I watched all of Garrett Gilbert's games last Spring. Of course I love football, even when Texas sucks.

My favorite childhood memories are of playing Pop Warner games on Wednesday, watching junior high games on Thursday, high school on Friday, A&I on Saturday, and the Oilers on Sunday. I'd usually have to turn off Monday Night Football at halftime, but if the Oilers were playing, I'd stay up for that, too.

And that's the way it should be!

I fucking hate myself for rearranging my Saturdays and, well fuck....my life...around this fucking shitshow

When Texas sucks, it pretty much ruins college football for me, for the season.

However, fortunately for me, I’m also an NFL fan (knowing that flys in the face of most posters)

some people here "hate the NFL" but still watch it like the rest of us.

You misspelled South Austin’s mom.

I always enjoyed the post game radio call-in shows much more after a loss, even more so during disappointing seasons. This feels much the same, minus the raw emotion of cracking voices. So, my answer is “sometimes.”

Yup, that basically sums up Texas football this decade. Zero. Fun. Sir.

This whole fucking decade has sucked. Why the fuck would I enjoy it? The only games I have truly enjoyed were the win over aggy in 2011, the wins over ou and the Sugar Bowl win.

soccer is fun to play but it fucking blows to watch. boring as shit. nothing fucking happens. why do you think soccer hoolilgans pound the shit out of each other in the stands? they are bored and pissed off. why do you think thousands if soccer fans stampede and trample each other to death? cause they are enraged sheep forced to watch a fucking abortion of an exhibition put on by flopping wankers and it depresses them and they become suicidal. Ever since Pelé retired soccer players are pathetic.

If I want to watch guys run around in skimpy shorts I watch footy.

fuck hermann

I sleep way better not staying up past midnight to watch this shitty team fumble its way on a field

Nah, I quit planning weekends around Texas football several years ago when it became crystal clear that we are no longer a prestigious football program. Cocky - Yes. We can’t even land the best players in Texas, never mind future NFL players from around the country that don’t want anything to do with Texas ruining their chances in a total team effort.

And you got negged?

And people bitch about CR?

It's just as angry and spiteful on the football board. We're pissed off. I still enjoy football, but it's hard to read the threads on here.

Nope. It's even worse when a program like Baylor, who has done everything wrong for the last ten years is enjoying success when they don't deserve it.

According to the announcers, Baylor had to overcome some adversity. I think a plane crashed or something.
