I think Waddle had a KO return for a TD as well.

Waddle had an incredible game.

J.K. Dobbins - 211 yds, 4 tds (La Grange, TX) - He wasn’t coming to Texas during the Chuckles disaster

Garrett Wilson - 118 yds, 1 td (Lake Travis, TX) - Family from Ohio. We had a shot, but Mehringer wasn’t winning him over, and neither was losing to Maryland 2 years in a row.

Baron Browning - 7 tckls (led team), 1.5 tfl (Kennedale, TX) - another Chuckles casualty

Grant Delpit - 1 int (Houston, TX) - from New Orleans. He was always going to LSU

Karey Vincent Jr. - 1 int (Port Arthur, TX) - Aggy legacy that chose LSU because Sumlin didn’t offer or only after they missed on everyone else. He was never going to Texas in a million years

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Ohio St commit) - 2 more TD's today, 10 total so far in the playoffs (Rockwall, TX)

It’s like some of you cunts don’t follow recruiting

and stop bringing up Waddle. He was bought and paid for. We weren’t playing that game

Someone named Brayden Willis just scored for OU.  Texan.

Brayden Willis - 1 td today

Texas tight ends - 1 td all season

Yeah, it’s next to my Cam Newton evidence

Also, if you haven’t surmised, it’s not the players, it’s the coaching. There is a reason some no name 3 star on Patterson’s defense plays like a 5 star. He knows what the fuck he is doing.

It is the same reason all the 5 star players in our secondary play like shit. Because Orlando is a CLOWN

If other teams are paying, we should start paying more

Sheeeeeeeeit.  We won’t even pay Urban.

"We had a shot, but Mehringer wasn’t winning him over, and neither was losing to Maryland 2 years in a row."

Mehringer completely screwed up Wilson's recruitment by badmouthing the WRs on the current squad. This was long before we lost to Maryland the second time.

You can add Eno Benjamin to this list. 168 yards and 2 TDs on the ground last night, pretty much single-handedly carried ASU to victory against Arizona.

And we recruited Toneil Carter over him.

This is exactly how I remember the dark years between Fred and Mack. Texas talent all over the country, not playing at Texas.

Trask 30-41 for 343 yards & 3tds

I was just a kid, but I remember David Warren being the breaking point.

The new rules about promoions will open up the floodgates. You could never know the market value of a player until they get paid, so any kind of attempt to punish a booster will fail. Advantage Texas.

This is kind of a fallacy.  We could “shut down the state” but I think those guys would all have been “quality players” here and no better.  How many guys have we had come through who were “disappointments” in the last decade?  How many times have we said a player seems to have “regressed” since his freshman year?

Maybe we are getting the good players after all.  We’re just not making them better, and might be making them worse.

It’s coaching. The good players you all list would just have sucked under Charlie/Herman bad coaching.

Promotions...?

Or, tell me more about these new promoions.
