I hope Buj gets it together next year after his collar bone injury. He was having a great year. Somewhere around 43 to 45 a kick.

Personally I hope we never punt.

I like those happy thoughts as well and agree. But realistically I hope he gets better.

Man was he was a train wreck in September. Pretty funny looking back. Glad the kid is figuring it out a bit.

Yes you can tailgate the Alamo Bowl, but you can also get drunk in bars on the other side of 37 and just walk to the Alamodome. That's usually my move. It's an easy walk unless you're fat or decrepit.

why not both?

As far as I’ve seen, the Alamo Bowl “swag bag” is the best I’ve seen. NCAA rules dictates

That they spend They each received Air Pods, Alamo Bowl watch, small helmet depicting both teams, and an Amazon gift card covering the rest - $100 + dollars!

NCAA guidelines state less than 550 per player.

I could see the young men being excited about the ear pods, that watch, and the gift card...but da fuh with the mini helmet?  A 7 year old boy would have a hard time feigning interest in something that shitty.   Just take that amount and add it to the amazon gift card.  I promise 200 of those mini-helmets will be hitting the ebay in about a week.

Did the mini-helmet empresario of San Antonio have 200 plastic helmets he needed to outfit and sell to make his year-end nut or something?

IT posted a team practice update and Scipio Utah preview. Does anyone have it?

FWIW I have one in my office from the TCU vs Oregon game. I’ll gladly display one of UT vs Utah next week!

Dusting be damned - the Alamo Bowl has been one of the most “entertaining “ bowls during the last 6-8 years!

Defense press conference.    Orlando,  adjusting to coaching change main topic.

How did Sea World-San Antonio just happen to have 100 XXL wetsuits on hand to accommodate the....?

Oh, wait.

Our football team on a rollercoaster is just a little too on the nose for me.

we'll be there...taking dad to the bowl game, he enjoyed the txtech game so much. hotel near the riverwalk was impossible, so we're staying about 15 mins down the road, didn't want to be on 35 at midnight on NYE.

can you still park in River Center mall garage? we went to the '98 ccg and parked there, was an easy walk...if not, may just uber.

let's end the season on a high note! 🤘

You can, but I would guess it will fill up early in th day.

Will be there with a group of about 15 or so.  Will be hanging out inside the Sunset Station before kickoff.  Been going to the Alamo Bowl for years now.  Glad to see the Horns there.

Sam will get told to sign up for classes. I know they only do the first couple of rounds, but after the finish to the season, I doubt Cosmi leaves too.

Going to be so embarrassing. Herman running a texas program and getting beat by a Utah program with 2 and 3 star players.

I mean there's a difference between tearing down and rebuilding the system in a month versus just calling fewer blitzes from Alaska.

TCU, Iowa State, Baylor. We’ve been getting beat by 3 stars for a while

It does not benefit Texas or Naivar for him to shit on Orlando after he's been fired.

And as mentioned above - the scheme itself wasn't the problem - it was the play calls within that scheme (specifically those ridiculous blitzes and using Ossai as a DB) that were the problem.

And not having any of the starters in the back end....

Thanks for clarifying. I'm sure that scheme will generate a bunch of sacks and shut down the running Utah QB then

no, he should come out and say "FUCK TODD ORLANDO" and also loudly tell everyone exactly what we plan to do differently during the game
