August 10Aug 10 I buy the bellatoria thin crust at Walmart and doctor them up with cheese onions and jalapeños. Better than most.

I do the same with Red Barron Supreme pizzas. Typically add pepperoni, mushrooms, jalapeños and some additional cheese. Sometimes additional onion and green peppers. It's a good enough product and so convenient, that it's been a while since I've made one from scratch. I should probably remedy that though.

Those first 3 are multi-packs, so those are in the $3-$4.50 range per pizza. Most I've spent on one is about $11 on Rao's. Great crust but hard to justify spending that much more than other options.

I've got several of CM's frozen Neapolitan pizzas in my freezer. You can get one with just sauce and dress us as you like for $5-$6. I think they're under $10 if you get one that's already dressed. They're actually pretty good.
August 11Aug 11 HEB has decent pizzas and it seems that more often than not, they always have at least one variety that has coupons out that make it pretty fucking cheap. Last time I cruised down the frozen fatass aisle, you could buy one of these: And get a free pint of gelato. This shit is pretty damn good if you haven't tried it. And the flatbread turned out pretty good once I doctored it up with some fresh jalapeno and mounds of grated parmesan . Since I knew damn well I was gonna house both of those that evening, I thought the fresh veggies added a healthful twist. Edited August 11Aug 11 by Blotto

The cheese and pepperoni are good for 2 pies. $7.48/each $3.57 pepperoni $2.78 mozzarella About $10.66 total per pie and beats the shit out of Dominos/Pizza Hut/Pappa Johns etc Crust is really good Cook at 500 for 9-13 mins center rack no sheet *HEB almost always has a coupon as well Edited August 11Aug 11 by ChickenSandwich

August 11Aug 11 Those Hormel cupping pepperonis have such a weird plasticky texture when eating them straight out of the bag. The easiest alternative is boar's Head Stick of pepperoni but that also has its pitfalls No idea why dictation decided that "head" and "stick" should be randomly capitalized. I swear it's gotten worse in the last 6 months. Edited August 12Aug 12 by elfenix

August 21Aug 21 These go well on any frozen pizza and have some solid protein numbers. Hell sometimes I'll just throw them in the oven by themselves.

Their blue box 4 for $12-ish version, for what it is (thin crust pepperoni, no frills), is absolutely no slouch. Hard to think of a better use of funds for a cheap heat and eat.
