man Claudio has just been bad this year

Yup. Relievers man

The Rangers are a -110 favorite tonight against the Tigers with Matt Moore on the hill.  How is that freakin' possible?

Take the over??

Went to Saturday's game. Almost comical how bad the fielding was. Gallo was the lone bright spot besides the Dilly Dog I ate.

I picked a good weekend to have other stuff to do.

Hope they can do something good with the high draft picks they will be awarded over the next few years.

But im sure they will spend them on Monty ferriss and drew meier again.

You know how Martin has that one inning a game he melts down in? Moore is like watching that, only every inning.....

I think Desheilds is becoming my favorite player this year.

Agreed!

Mazara has been raking. Think him, Gallo and Guzman will be a good foundation going forward. DeShields too.

This team has definitely been more fun to watch since Delino came back. Guy is an on base machine.

Sounds like Odor should be back this weekend, and then hopefully Calhoun gets called up soon.

Would love to see this lineup at some point, at least until Elvis is back.

CF Delino

2B Odor

RF Maz

3B Beltre

LF Gallo

DH Calhoun

C Chirinos

SS Profar

1B Guzman

Verlanders last 2 starts against Texas he’s pitched great and has nothing to show for it because his team was 1 hit both times.

Just like that we’re 4-4 against South Texas this year. Let’s do it again tomorrow

Guzman has been impressive with glove. When he starts hitting (hopefully) he will be a fixture at 1st.

Wow -went back and looked. He's 4-2 in 9 games. Only one game where he didn't make it to six and (the same) only one game where he had more than 2 ERs. He's had a loss or ND in 4 games where he went at least 6 innings and gave up 1 run or less - two of those games were 8 innings..

Jesus

If Odor can't get his head in the game, he needs to head back down to the minors . Was it Saturday, with the bases loaded, that he swung at a 3-2 pitch in the dirt? Kiner is batting .245. Odor .195

Too many dead spots in the lineup. Gallo sucking wind. Rua getting some wood on the ball, but nothing to show for it. Get Elvis back and move Profar to LF or 3rd base.

A hitter like Odor is the exact opposite of what they need in the lineup right now. He can be fun to watch, but frustrating for the most part.

There is no reason a pitcher ever needs to throw a pitch in the strike zone to Odor. Absolutely no plate discipline.3 breaking balls in the dirt and he strikes out. I would much rather see IKF at the plate in a big situation.

He should be.

BTW: this FB announcing crap sucks. They're aren't talking about the game hardly at all. Sounds like an MLB podcast with a game on in the background.

7 shutout innings by the fat man! He’s easily the best thing about this season. Watching him in the ASG would be hilarious and amazing.

and yeah the Facebook thing needs to die

horrible.  ump choked.  then Odor proceeds to swing at a 1-0 pitch up after the reliever for chisox walked the previous batter and is all over the zone.

Odor's contract is going to be another anchor around our necks just when we had a chance to get out from under Choo's.

HIT the previous batter.

Worst loss of the season?

Fucking Leclerc was born to lose. He gets a fucking dribbler, takes a lazy windup, much as you might see had the ball been hit sharply to him, realizes it's a close play and, although a normal throw STILL would have sufficed, he slings a fucking slider at 95mph that coulda killed the runner  had it hit him in the head. Born to fucking lose mentality.

He can't stand to get ahead in the count. He sets himself and the team up to lose. His head's not in the game.

Odor needs to sit for a week.

I mean Leclerc struck the dude out but got jobbed by the ump. He’s been good this year

Bascik was talking about Odor the other day and I think he's dead on.  It seems that anytime Odor gets ahead in the count, 1-0/2-0/2-1, he decides he's going to swing before the ball is even pitched because "they have to throw me a strike".  Well, they're throwing him shit pitches behind in the count and he swings at them everytime.  It's mind-numbing.

These are two terrible baseball teams.

At least the Sox have a good farm system to look forward to
