March 29, 20187 yr So pitching is actually decent, but 73 year old Beltre has half of the team's total hits. Figures...
March 29, 20187 yr Ugh...heres hoping the other 161 look better 1st game and all but they carried over their impatience at the plate. Verlander was at like 59 pitches after the 5th and guys were just swinging at first pitch Hell bush just threw 22 in one inning
March 30, 20187 yr Choo was always going to be really ugly at the end of his contract. Unfortunately, he has never lived up to any part of his contract. Bad move from the onset.
March 30, 20187 yr Gonna be a long one, boys. I’m hoping Cole pitches well enough for us to get a good haul at the deadline, assuming we’re out of the playoff picture by then.

And it is also insane that a professional baseball player can't lay down a bunt towards third. Edited March 30, 20187 yr by RPM

March 30, 20187 yr Don't understand the logic of not bunting with that shift. Unless you've got 2 outs, I'd much rather have a nearly guaranteed base hit and try to start a rally rather than just swing for the fences with a 10% chance at best hitting a home run. When they start going away from the shift to take away the bunt, take the normal approach at the plate.

This is how a lot of teams will play him when there is no one on base if he isn't going to lay down a bunt toward third. He better start doing it now to stop the trend and have them respect that he will lay one down.

If he is not willing to add bunting to his game while these insane shifts are going on, get him out of the 2 hole. Have him 3rd or wherever. Give him more of an opportunity to come up to bat with men on. There is no reason to not at least attempt to lay down a bunt yesterday with that shift. And he's one of the fastest guys on the team. It doesn't even have to be a perfect bunt to get on base. Stop that shit real quick. I also thought he was going to be more patient this year at the plate? First 2 at bats swung at the first pitch for outs.

It's hard to learn how, he's been coached his whole life to swing away and he's not going to change. " smh
March 31, 20187 yr Quality Fisting tonight. Strong game from Choo. Maybe this team won't be that awful.
March 31, 20187 yr Nice win tonight. Good start by Fister. HR by Mazara was a bullet. Even Choo showed up. I’m somewhat optimistic about the bullpen.
March 31, 20187 yr Hard not to be tremendously pleased with that outing.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
March 31, 20187 yr well done. need odor to have a bounce back year and Choo to play above his historical average and we might have something.
