April 3, 20187 yr Lol. Never thought starting pitching would be the strength of this shitastic squad.
April 3, 20187 yr If it weren’t for hotdogs, nachos, and beer, I might just pretend this season doesn’t exist. But that bright yellow cheese!
April 3, 20187 yr pretty tired of the rua and robinson experiment. is calhoun not being a up a quality of player issue or a contract issue?
April 3, 20187 yr I would say its to keep him under contract longer...thinks its like june 1st they can call him up and avoid losing a minor leaguer one year early as opposed to putting on opening day roster

April 4, 20187 yr Hamels 11K’s in 5 innings last night is impressive. Bad thing is he has to work so hard to get there, way to many long at bats.
April 4, 20187 yr wish he could have gone more than 5. still nibbling a lot, but he was not not missing up in the zone. Everything was down. Freaking Odor just hates staying on the bases once he gets there. Making Lucroy look like Pudge throwing people out. but hello win column and all that plus breaking the unbelievable losing streak out there.
April 4, 20187 yr Oakland has to play in the worst stadium known to man. And that includes Tropicana in Tampa.
April 4, 20187 yr They actually had plans to build a nice ballpark on Lake Merritt, but in typical Cali fashion, the bureaucrats got in the way. Not sure if they have a plan B
April 4, 20187 yr That place is like a tomb for a night game but you can always hear the drums banging from right field.
April 4, 20187 yr people were screaming just because they could hear the echo during the game last night. do they crack 1M in attendance per year?
April 4, 20187 yr Big decision on Colon tomorrow. Move him to the pen? Tought choice after his last start was solids.
April 5, 20187 yr Apparently watching the rangers was so terrible during the opening homestand that people just waited in line to buy dilly dogs all game. Sold so many and had such long lines they're opening another booth for them.

April 5, 20187 yr This variation of hitters 6-9 might be the worst in the league. No lie. It's a fucking black hole.
April 5, 20187 yr This whole lineup with the exception of Elvis is a gigantic black hole. Does Chirinos have a hit yet?
April 5, 20187 yr If there's one good thing I can say about this shitty ass lineup is that their ineptitude allowed the game to finish in 2.5 hours and I didn't have to stay up until midnight to watch that ass get beat.
April 5, 20187 yr Why is everyone so concerned with 6-9 when whole line up minus elvis is bad We have one major league bat...buckle up going to be a long one I wouldnt mind sitting odor and lets actually see what profar can do with everyday ab if we are waiting for 2020 and beyond...dude hasnt got to play much with injuries and getting tossed around multiple positions

April 5, 20187 yr It is. Prevailing thought was that Bartolo would be DFA’d once Perez was back, at least until his start Monday.
April 7, 20187 yr Looks like the solution to the Colon situation is going to be DFA Moore. No way he'll ever be worse than Moore has been in 2 starts.
April 7, 20187 yr Moore has longest leash...they arent concerned with winning and since we traded for him he will being pitching until july to see if anything shows improvement

Minor only pitched somewhere around 75 innings last year. and didn't pitch in '15 or '16. They're going to keep him as limited as possible for the foreseeable future.I was actually surprised he cam out for the 6th.

April 8, 20187 yr Hamels gonna Hamels. Seems like the same pitcher I've always known him to be. Never liked the price tag the Rangers payed for him. I hope they can get something for him when teams start dealing.

Besides the obvious great move of getting Lee, I am not thinking of a good pitching trade off of the top of my head.
